Unveiled! Hawaii's 1961 long-form birth certificates
WND ^ | 7/28/09 | Jerome Corsi

Posted on 07/28/2009 7:34:23 PM PDT by pissant

Images of two 1961 Hawaii birth certificates similar to the one President Obama purportedly has on file have now been unveiled.

The Honolulu Advertiser published photostats of the original long-form birth certificates of twin daughters born to Eleanor Nordyke at Kapi'olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital Aug. 5, 1961, one day after Obama was supposedly born at the same facility.

The Nordykes' certificates include information missing from the short-form document for Obama published online, including the name of the hospital, the name of the attending physician, name and address of the parents, the race of the parents and the race of the baby.

As WND reported yesterday, Hawaii's director of health responded to the growing controversy over the White House's refusal to release Obama's original long-form birth certificate by issuing a statement about the document in apparent contravention of Hawaiian law.

there were three ways that things were stamped depending on which stamping machine they used, etc.

Didn't he say something about how the three methods were (a) online order, (b) mail order, and (c) phone order (or walk-in), or something like that?

I doubt it. It is most likely the date that the COLB was printed out.

Yeah, I know.

It’s all just too fishy. He’s hiding something, but who knows what? Race? Paternity? Place of birth?

As I posted on another thread, my #1 theory at the moment is that the The Dunhams sent Ann back to Seattle to have that baby, perhaps to a “home for unwed mothers” across the line in Canada.

That’s why there are no witnesses, no accounts whatsoever of her in Hawaii during the pregnancy. Nor is there any record of her and Obama every being married or living together.

That’s why she was in Seattle, as witnessed by old high school friends, in August ‘61 with the newborn and why she enrolled in school at the U. of Washington that fall.

Travel simply wasn’t as easy then as it is now, and particularly with a newborn.

Birth records are likely either in Washington state or Canada.

Somebody up there should be looking.

... the race of the parents and the race of the baby...perchance does Obama's COLB list him as "caucasian"? - what a blow that would be to the first real black President claim to fame.....

Corsi is a loon!

Where does the long form list the race of the baby? Why do you need the race of the baby when you have the races of the parents? What's the doctor to do when the kid pops out? Hold up a reflected light meter and say, "Nurse, I think you'd better put this one down as white."?

That is what I am trying to understand. For what reason was a COLB presented in place of a live birth certificate as proof of obama citizenship? Why does one even exist if they are basically a substitute or replacement for the real thing, IF obama was born in Honalulu? No reason except to cover up something as far as I can see.

Are we misreading it? Could the zero in front of BO’s actually be a the letter “O”.

No, that's not an "O". As the population increased on the island due to tourism and the growth of the military bases, Hawaiian officials saw the need to add more digits.

In 1960, 632,772 people lived on the island. By 1990, the population nearly doubled on the islands to 1,108,229. The Certification numbering system adds that extra zero "0" in front of the last set of numbers to ensure a consistent numbering system through the 21st century.

The numbering system has evolved as the population has grown.

For example, in the 1920s when Hawaii was a territory, they did NOT see the need to add the year group in front of the birth certificate #, as this 1927 "Standard Certificate of Birth" shows. In 1920, there was only 255,881 people on the island. The population grew nearly 45 percent to 368,300 by 1930! They saw a need to change the numbering system to meet the growing number of babies being born on the island from the population explosion:

Air travel was much more pleasant then than now (unless you have your own Gulfstream, that is).

Yes, thank you. Hawaii may have made that mod for Y2k.

I discussed that possibility in later replies.

"One stack of them would be at one hospital or office, and another would be at another hospital or office, meaning that each would turn in the certificates out of order. Surely there are some missing as well."

LOL! Many years ago hospitals gave you a Certificate with all the information about your baby on it even the cute little foot print. But that was never a legal Birth Certificate. All Legal Birth Certificates are issued from the County Health Department of the County you were born in.

The clue is simple: That is the bleed through from the stamp on the other side of the document. It validates that the document has the stamp on the other side... this one, which was photographed by factcheck:

I would imagine, that with only two hospitals; and the population in HI not being that dense, that BC would be pretty rare (a couple dozen a week).

I found data sugegsting about 18,000 births per year in Hawaii in 1960. Even discounting for births on the other islands, and for the army hospital, there were probably closer to a hundred births each week in the hospital. Oddly enough, one of the sources I consulted turned out to be written by the very woman whose twins started this thread:

One missing piece - What is the process for ordinary citizens to request their own original birth certificate? say for Hawaii?

Press Secty Gibbs makes it sound like they already did this. But that is the COLB. Maybe someone should fill out the request form. Or is Obama admin right that they ‘cant’ make that request???

Maybe the birthers could start a craze of people asking for this - FOR THEMSELVES - since they cannot legally ask for Obama’s. Then send it in to their Rep in Congress. “Here’s mine. Where’s Obama’s?”

If there is a way to request this, I am sure it could/should be done for BHO. I say this as a confirmed skeptic of birther-ism and believer that Obama was born in Honolulu.

The COLB that Obama shared is the exact same form any other requestor of birth records will get from state of Hawaii.

Actually, the liar-in-chief has not said that, factcheck said that, said that they handled his original birth certificate and photographed it. The affirmative action fraud doll laways leaves himself plausible deniability. On the other hand, Gibbs(!) did say that the White House had placed a copy of his original birth certificate on line and Polarik has shown that was a fraudulent exhibit! I don’t actually think anyone in the past couple of years has seen an actual BC fro the bastard.

“Only the foreign born certifications are void of facts, because they don't have verifiable facts.”

I stood with WVNan, I couldn't see clearly exactly what you were claiming, but now it's evident.

In good ol’ country boy terms - Obama has stepped in a pile, but we caught him before he could wipe his boots off.

As I detailed here http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2300687/posts , anyone sharing a COMMON ANCESTOR (family tree) with Obama can get his birth certificate. That person by operation of law has a tangible and direct interest in it. All that is needed is for someone out there that shares a common ancestor with Obama to step forward and get the birth certificate.
