The “A woman’s place is in the home” contingent chimes in.
I say “A woman’s place is in the House, the Senate, and the White House.”..... if she is the right woman.
And on what planet do you live, nmh?
You do know that the defense fund contributions are limited to $150 a year? Thousands of people have already contributed the max, but at $150 a pop, that doesn’t add up quickly.
C4P had a webathon and raised over $130,000 in a week. At $150 a pop.
And excuse me, but SarahPac?
You do know that she has done NO fundraising and raised $750,000 (In addition to the defense fund $)?
You do know that in the week after she resigned, SarahPac took in over $250,000 more?
Which means she has over a million dollars in SarahPac.
Without doing any fundraising, except Google ads and 3 emails in 8 months.
Apparently on whatever planet you live on, more than a million dollars means her supporters won’t give her money. Are you sure the oxgygen content in the air is at the proper levels on that planet? ‘Cause oxygen deprivation can cause some wild hallucinations.
Mitt = Romneycare
His candidacy as a Republican is doomed. We will not nominate anyone that endorses government run healthcare.
The era of the Republican party nominating liberal-lites is over!
I dont feel betrayed. What is the goal of this stupid piece?
What is divisive is to go after the gender that gives her great support instead of the gender that doesn't, why do that and do you always use MS?
They are so inured to the DC way of doing things that when someone comes along who breaks the rules, they become apoplectic regardless of their political stripe. This shows weakness to my mind as well as an unblinking allegiance to a flawed political system that has given us an out-of-control government and criminal elected officials.
You know she refused to accept money from her supporters, right?
This is why she’s writing a book. She won’t accept a free lunch.
I’ve been a solid Republican voter all my life, but nothing has disenchanted me more from the Party than the disgusting backstabbing of Palin by its establishment figures. I’ve grown to truly despise a lot of the so-called Republican leaders and their beltway-punditry bretheren over the past year.
Yea, it was the title that was very misleading. Actually a very good article that made several great points and a great concluding paragraph:
Theres only one Sarah Palin and theres not another soul on the national stage who can even come close to filling her high heels. At a time when the Republican Party has lost so many seats in Congress that its teetering on the brink of irrelevancy, Palins detractors on the right should ask themselves how much sense it makes to help the liberal media try to tear down the biggest star in the conservative movement.
There is a chance that as time goes forward, Palin supporters may become disappointed in the sense that in our minds we may have built her up to be more than she actually is or wants to be. At the moment, Palin is not the reincarnation of the combined personas of Joan of Arc and Ronald Reagan. Given time, she could grow and mature to be a conservative leader of those mythical proportions, but for the present, Sarah needs time to decide where her ambitions and duty lay.
I feel just fine and I still like Palin.
More disturbing are the attacks from Liberal RINOs....these are the people, unfortunately, who the GOP leadership are listenting to
Palin is the GOP frontrunner....no matter what Liberals, RINO, Romney, Huckabee, etc...think or believe. She is the only one that has a core group of supporters
Notice that the same people (Libs, RINOs) who bash Palin....are also the same ones who bash “Birthers”. Not saying that Palin is a birther....but that Palin, Birthers, represent the large strong corps of conservative Americans....
If you believe independent polls, not the media-driven stuff, Palin's numbers with women are improving. Still behind men in terms of Fav/Unfav, but not that much.
For women, Palin has gone from 39/50 in March to 45/46 last week (Public Policy Polling, a Dem-leaning outfit).
You should try and read the articles before commenting.
vaudine
P.S.I love her red heels--shows her very feminine side and her own distinctive style. Notice how Michelle's "own style" is touted as soooo fashionable and Palin 's distinctive style is "slutty".
I hadn’t read far enough down the thread so I have now duplicated what you already posted. Great post! ;-)
That makes two of us Coyote, Sarah Palin has my vote for whatever she chooses to do.
Anybody who didn’t figure it out when the Code Pink protesters that crashed the Republican convention got in with NBC press credentials doesn’t want to figure it out.
Awesome news, thanks!
