I had this conversation with a lib right after “shock and awe”.....he said that he hated that he wished for Bush to be killed but that in the end it would save more lives, and so that justified him praying for Bush’s assassination. He couldn’t believe that I never hoped that Clinton would be assassinated.....like it was just a natural outpouring of my guy not being elected.
I told him that no matter how bad the world was, I at least went to bed with the peace of mind in knowing that I never wished death upon another human being, and was never so twisted as to think it would benefit anyone else.
