Eunice Kennedy Shriver Dies at 88

Eunice Kennedy Shriver, a member of the famed Kennedy clan who devoted much of her life to children's charities, including founding the Special Olympics, died at the age of 88.
Known for her devotion to the mentally disabled community and in particular her mentally disabled sister Rosemary, Ms. Kennedy Shriver founded the Special Olympics in 1968.
For years before, she had invited mentally disabled children to a summer camp held in the backyard of her Maryland home.
From the first group of 35 children, the Special Olympics grew into an organization that now hosts 227 programs in more than 180 countries and includes more than three million participants.

May she RIP. She seemed like a “decent” Kennedy. At least I never heard anything bad about her.

RIP. A Kennedy with some class. Wasnt easy for me to type those words, but in her case I suffered through it.
She was a socialist just like Rose Kennedy.
More importantly, she was a good person who did things to help others. There is more to a person than what his or her political beliefs happen to be.
RIP. She did a lot of good work with the Special Olympics and her commitment to pro-life causes.
Interesting. If she wanted government to take care of the poor while she bathed herself in wealth.....her judgement might not be a pretty thing.

That may be true, but I will give her the benefit of the doubt here to cull her out from the rest of her corrupt family.
Her work with the most vulnerable in our society has earned her my respect. She helped others more than she helped herself, which is more than can be said for nearly every other member of her family.
May she rest in peace, and Godspeed to her.

That is what it was until leftists like herself turned the Elm City into a sewer. Italians, Poles, Jews, Blacks, the Irish all had their little neighborhoods right next to each other.
The WASP establishment, aligned with the leaders of Jewish and Black community, fueled by the largest per capita social spending in the country turned a wonderful city into a cesspool.

The Kennedy-Shriver family is killing this country. They are dragging us into socialism and their trust funds are off-shore and tax protected. Alive or dead this is what she is. Truth is not alway pretty.
