Question: as a Frookie (Freeper rookie... no?), I was wondering if I’d be able to attend or is this strictly a veteran sortof get together.

I’m sure yall have all this covered, but it would be great to mobilize freepers in the DC area to plaster flyers around the mall downtown and in popular spots in Northern VA and Southern MD. Thats what the anti-war folks did for their rallies to help their local turnouts. I’m talking starbucks, supermarkets, community centers, universities, veterans organizations, and more. Because times are tough we’re going to have to rely on big turnouts from the local populace. Is there a flyer we can print out?

DC Chapter Master Ping List
Heads Up - Lots of info in this thread. Please read it.
[Mrs] T and I will be there. The patriotic duo of Rlmorel and Veeram from MA will be there. Hope to see more of you all there.
We usually meet at big FReeps and don't get a chance to raise a glass in a relax atmosphere. This is the event to do both.

Important Information
The Sheraton National is a Pet Friendly Hotel!
Some Freepers have told me they can't come to the convention or decided to go use another Hotel because they wanted to bring their dogs along.
I learned yesterday the Sheraton is a pet friendly hotel! For those who are concerned about leaving your dogs at home, or who have made reservations elsewhere, problem solved! Let the Sheraton know you will be bringing "Fido" along with you! The online reservation system does not have a pet option, you will need to call their reservation line for reservations with pets.

My wife and I are going to attend the rally on Saturday and are curious if there are any Southern Maryland Freepers out there that would be interested in getting together for breakfast before they/we head out?
Please PM me if this sounds like something you would like to do.
I have a couple of very good breakfast places we could go to if anyone is interested.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
