A 72-year-old Harlem business owner turned Bernhard Goetz on four robbers yesterday, pulling a shotgun from beneath his desk and opening fire, killing two and wounding the others, cops said.
The four men barged into Kaplan Bros. Blue Flame Corp., a restaurant-supply company at 523W. 125th St., at 3 p.m.

Doesn't this business owner know he is supposed to call the ACLU or ACORN, instead of defending himself and his property? I hope that he at least gets credit for solving a drug addiction problem for the vermin that were after his money and his life.

They gave the name of the owner so you would know he is not a native of Harlem. This will enable the race-hucksters to organize a war dance around the store if it turns out that the criminals die.

LOL. Not that there is any dignity in being a robber but what an undignified way to die. Very appropriate. I hope his family and friends read this story or otherwise come to know how he died.

My thoughts are that guns are illegal in New York. The next thing that came to mmind was the mention that two crooks got hit in the back. IMO when a thief has an employee covered with a 9mm there is no reason to shout a warning before firing at him with a shotgun.
I fear this poor man who did a rightious act in blowing this trash aay is going to have problems witht he police. If not the local neighborhood. After all he killed two Brothers.
If I was 72 and did that, I could die happy after 20-more years.
