Agree; and have to wonder just what the 'left' itself has in it's collective mind. ,p. They carry a particular brand of hate where they are all too willing to indict others for their own Machiavellian, Leftist agenda.

Of course it is one thing to put hate messages on one's own dorm room door; or create a racial incident at work by faking offense; or burn a cross on their own lawn; while laying blame elsewhere. . .but this is going a bit over the top. Am stunned at the rhetoric that contain not only the ugliest racist rhetoric but incendiary words as well.

We can only wonder - and remember - that there IS a wisdom and a warning; in those who 'protest too much'. . .

[Saw headline at Drudge; re National Guard - practicing maneuvers at High School - prepping for riots over H1N1; and suspect it is not because they imagine there will be riots if not enough vaccine; nor do I think that is the only thing they are preparing for!. We are so in trouble folks. . .]

I'm not so sure. If we go back to the Kent State "massacre" at the height of the 60s counterculture war against America, the NG suffered a huge backlash for the fact that they fired on unarmed college students, killing four and wounding nine.

With today's military and their more "sensitivity based" training, I don't believe that the military (including the NG) will want a repeat of the Kent State event. In addition, the military today is in a worse position with Obama than they were with Clinton and there is no love lost between the military amd Obama. Notice he doesn't do any of his major speeches at military bases??

FWIW, IMO, if push comes to shove between civilians and the military, if we (the civilians) make it known that we intend no harm to the military, I'm not convinced they would try to stop us from peacefully and legally exercising our Constitutional rights. I could be wrong, but I just don't think so. Historically, one of the worst decisions any political leader can make is to deploy the military against his/her own people and the military actually carrying out his/her orders. That's a recipe for disaster!
