I hope these guys are for real...I am tired of AARP and quit them several years ago. They really screwed up supporting Bammy and company. Anyone here a member and know if these guys are actually making an impact?

You should have seen the article honoroing Harry Belefonte in their monthly magazine. The next week he went to Venezuela for an opportunity to dis the US and get his picuture made with Hugo Chavez.

Just as any organization functioning under quasi-democratic rules, by-laws, whatever you want to call them. Just like our Constitutional Republic, public corporations, NGO’s, clubs and the like. The electorate, stockholders, dues paying members need to be vigilant always in order to keep the system that which they joined in the first instance.

I get a mailing from AARP about once a month. The mailing contain a membership card. I have started writing on the back of the card, “Take this card and shove it up your ass.” I then send the card back to them in the postpaid envelope.

This looks good as well. I love when I read the quote above in their home page that came from the AARP about losing 60,000 members since AARP came out shilling for the demoRATs health care debacle. I hope every member quits the AARP demoRAT commie group.
