DeVore taking off gloves on Fiorina: "Remind Carly to get an absentee ballot"

Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, R-Irvine -- who's running against Democratic U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer -- has taken off the gloves on his GOP challenger, Carly Fiorina, telling us today that he's not even sure she would "vote in her own primary with her name on the ballot.''

(snip)

Fiorina moved closer to a U.S. Senate bid by forming a committee, "Carly for California" this week, though her official Fiorina Enteprises website hints at what may be her coming campaign theme: "Tough Choices. Inspired Commitment. Real Results.''

Boxer is a notorious mudslinger and I hope Carly is ready.

Why do you want Carly to win? She’s an establishment hack who’ll just be Boxer with an R after her name.

Carly is a RINO. Her main accomplishments were ruining Lucent Technologies and Hewlett Packard. I cringed when I heard she was working on the John McCain campaign.

Who stands a better chance of defeating Boxer in the general election? Which ever one it is, I will vote for the person in the primary. I want to see a Republican majority in the US Senate. If it takes a few RINOs to get there then so be it.

Boxer will eat Fiorina alive. Carly’s a neophyte light-weight. She doesn’t have any particular political philosophy that’s well-known, especially since she has such a light voting record on issues California voters have voted on. Fiorina is the current media candidate and they’ll tear her apart, like they did with McCain and any other RINO, if she wins the primary. Her alleged charisma was nowhere to be found in her prime-time slot at the last Republican National Convention.

Right now her only credentials are she’s rich and has a vagina. I need more than that to make me want to run out put a lawn sign on my yard. Carly just comes across as the latest RINO globalist puppet to draw voters away from a candidate like DeVore who has real solutions.

Chuck DeVore has been through election battles, is bright and articulate, and a proven record of fighting for the best interests of California and our nation. He’s already secured numerous endorsements from top Republicans like Tom McClintock. He’s effectively using the new media to his advantage. He’s already made over a hundred appearances throughout this state while Carly’s been doing her little “will she?” “won’t she?” dance with the media.

We need a choice, not an echo. Democrat-light just won’t cut it. The people are hungry for change in California and if we cannot even provide a real choice for Californians, we might as well pack it in.

If it takes a few RINOs to get there then so be it.

In the heart of every partisan lurks a capitulation of philosophic principle.

Don't misunderstand, we welcome Republicans. We just wish they would pile their crap elsewhere.

Great tactic, Chuck. Make sure you give Boxer all the ammo she needs.

That liberal RINO you’ll support to get a “majority.” Unless you weren’t alive in 2001 ? Or, how ‘bout that Arlen Specter ? How did that work out for you ?

I was alive but not much involved in politics. I do know that Republican majority in the Senate has a lot of advantages.

Not if the key margin is made up of liberal Democrats pretending to be Republicans. You can’t be that naive, Jeff. Unless you don’t have a problem with people like Jeffords, Chafee, and Specter...

Not if the key margin is made up of liberal Democrats pretending to be Republicans.

The issue is who chairs committees. The issue is the majority of voters in those committees. The issue is being able to investigate Democrats who commit fraud. The issue is being able to investigate Obama firing the Americorps Inspector General. The issue is being able to control the formulation of the bills. The issue is being able to control the amendments. The issue is being able to avoid all the ways the majority is screwing the minority (us) right now.

You can’t be that naive, Jeff.

Can we avoid calling each other names? I already have enough Liberals calling me names.

You have no “majority” when it is provided by liberal Democrats misrepresenting themselves to the electorate as Republicans, Jeff. Try seeing how that works when you have the entire body vote. Like I said the first time, how did that Jeffords work out for you ? Or Specter ? Or Chafee ?

Having control of the committees means that which the entire body votes upon is more to my liking.

And how did that Jeffords work out for you ? Or Specter ? Or Chafee ? Where’s that majority ? What’s your aversion to answering the question ?
