The Nazi Party platform, 1920

I have reached the very same boiling point that most conservatives around me have reached. The nazis were not fond of individual rights, small limited/representative government, or life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Take a look at the National socialist party platform, 1920 and you will see the obvious. Many of you will be incapable of doing the following: blind yourself all references to 'the jews' as you read this and it indeed does look very similar to what we see from one of america's prominent ideologies today. It doesn't sound like conservatives. How many times do you see references to 'the state'?(And power to the state, etc)(directly or indirectly) The state needed to provide jobs, redistribute wealth, attack the rich, and other things. How about hogwash about equality? Yep, the nazis wanted that too. Don't miss the part about nationalization.

And of course, nationalized healthcare. Which of course germany already had. But the nazis strengthened it.

The nazis had their own similar policies to the fairness doctrine.

Right there in their platform at the bottom: Public interest over private interest - That is *NOT* anything like conservatism. Doesn't matter if you're talking about Buckley's conservatism, Goldwater, Limbaugh, or any other.

And the similarities keep on coming.

The Green Nazis: Environmentalism in the Third Reich

The Nazis created nature preserves, championed sustainable forestry, curbed air pollution, and designed the autobahn highway network as a way of bringing Germans closer to nature.

Hitler and the Volkswagen

Hitler designed the 'people's car', there's even a sketch of it.

adolf hitler and volkswagen

And of course, let's not forget about abortion. Yep, Hitler was big on abortion too. For everybody but Aryans of course.

Let's not forget that it was Nancy Pelosi who started all of this nazi talk with her comment on swastikas.

The nazis didn't just have their genocide element. They also had an economic element. It could be best described as liberal, or progressive, or socialist, or fascist.

But certainly not conservative.

Same with their stances on most other issues.

The democrat party is a fascist party.

Nail on the head hit.

That's why pelosi and ilk are blasting critics with Nazi tag. I don't know if subliminal can be attached to mis-direction, the way those freaks screech, but that's what their Nazi accusations of concerned America was/is all about.

Fascists is them and guaranteed they'll have their own brand on it. In the meantime, in between time, every chance they invent, they're screaming we're the Nazis.

America must not get lost in the democrat's brown fog at this point.

According to Webster's New World dictionary, fascism is a system of government characterized by rigid one-party dictatorship, forcible suppression of opposition, private economic enterprise under centralized governmental control...

Naziism was just the name of the fascists camoflaged ride.

The democrats can't afford to have the American people understand the difference. They'd be so busted.

Don't forget the anti-smoking campaign -- smoking cost the state in both health costs and lost worker time:

There are a lot of interesting posters here. There is one that says "Don't give, sacrifice" which is apt given Obama's attacks on charity or one that says "National Socialism: The Organized Will of the Nation."

Those that say this isn't about Nazism don't understand. Nazism wasn't so much about race as class warfare. The Jews were the rich bankers and Germans the poor working class and they were the perfect uniting force since there were few of them and many "natural" Germans.

To dissolve what happened in to race alone is a lie.

I made this same point a couple of weeks ago with direct reference to the ‘25 Points’ written in 1920. I counted sixteen of them that are either goals of today’s Democrat Party or are in line with the goals of Chairman Zero’s allies. That’s frightening.

Maybe the weak-kneed GOP congress critters could crawl out of their holes and, at least, discuss the origins of national socialized healthcare.

That way Hitler would not have to be in the discussion at all. I don't think there are too many Kaiser Wilhelm II haters left alive....Then just leave the extrapolations (from Hitler to his speech-impaired wannabee) to the street fighters.....(We're already carrying that water...)

Which Political Party Platform did the following come from?
See source at bottom.

We ask that the government undertake the obligation above all of providing citizens with adequate opportunity for employment and earning a living. The activities of the individual must not be allowed to clash with the interests of the community, but must take place within its confines and be for the good of all. Therefore, we demand: . . . and end to the power of the financial interests. We demand profit sharing in big business. We demand a broad extension of care for the aged. We demand . . . the greatest possible consideration of small business in the purchases of national, state, and municipal governments. In order to make possible to every capable and industrious [citizen] the attainment of higher education and thus the achievement of a post of leadership, the government must provide an all-around enlargement of our entire system of public education . . . . We demand the education at government expense of gifted children of poor parents . . .
The government must undertake the improvement of public health - by protecting mother and child, by prohibiting child labor . . by the greatest possible support for all clubs concerned with the physical education of youth. We combat the . . . materialistic spirit within and without us, and are convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only proceed from within on the foundation of the common good before the individual good.

Excerpts from the political program of the Nazi Party, adopted in Munich, on Feb 24, 1920 - source- DER NATIONALSOZIALISMUS DOKUMENTE 1933-1945 , edited by Walther Hofer, Frankfurt am Mein: Fischer Bucherei, 1957 pp 29-31
