Rest in Peace.
I pray also that it really wasn’t true, and if it was, you confessed to God and He forgives you.
I still pray for Mary Jo - and the baby.
I pray he learns lessons in the afterlife he did not in life.
I hope he and Mary Jo have a good conversation.
Prayers for his family.
I would bet they do.
No, he thought he would’ve been through the Presidency by now. He and his brothers were brought up by daddy to believe it was their destiny.
Kennedy's Legacy is, he did more harm to America than almost any other man in our history.
Good riddance to him as a politician, but prayers for the family and I hope he at last found true peace.
As the New Democrat Left tries to establish Obamacare as “Kennedy’s lasting legacy”, recall too that “Animal Farm” began with the death of Old Major

Old Major
A prize Middle White boar is the inspiration that fuels the Rebellion in the book. He is 12 years old. According to one interpretation, he could be based upon both Karl Marx, founder of modern Marxism and the base for Communism, (in that he describes the ideal society the animals could create if the humans are overthrown) and Vladimir Lenin (in that his skull is put on revered public display, as was Lenin’s embalmed corpse). However, according to Christopher Hitchens: “the persons of Lenin and Trotsky are combined into one [i.e., Snowball], or, it might even be [...] to say, there is no Lenin at all.”
That's EXACTLY what went through my mind when I heard about the Martha's Vineyard trip..... to the effect that he was going to go visit Ol' Teddy to get re-inspired to push even harder on this health care bill!
Maybe not to those that choose to wear blinders.
I happened to be flipping through channels last night and as I buzzed across CNN my eye caught old footage of Ted so i flipped back. They were well into their memorial details - all of the channels must have had stock footage ready to roll knowing how sick he’s been. So I clicked down to FNC - nothing. They were at least 15 minutes later than CNN getting to air with the story. Once they did announce it they continued to break in and out of the repeat of Greta.
HORRIBLE coverage!
I prefer FNC on a daily basis, but their coverage of breaking news continues to lag behind CNN at almost every turn. Don’t believe me - just check the ratings - the only time they ever lose is when something significant happens - people still turn to CNN for breaking news - partly because of name recognistion - and partly because many people tune to FNC KNOWING that something is happening and wanting details. When they find replays of Hannity and Greta playing - they go elsewhere for actual news. Loyalty matters - I went there to see what was ‘happening now’ - they let me down - again.
I hope and pray that someone, anyone from FNC is lurking and will tell someone in a suit that the only way they are ever going to be able to put the final nails in the coffin of MSNBC and CNN is if they actually someday decide to cover breaking news - even during Katrina and Ike many of their evenings and overnights were taped pieces and replays.
I wonder too why the 0bama gang did not go “home” to Chicago to see their house and hood and fans there...now we see the connection. Nothing 0bama does is without calculation.
In defense of FOX do you suppose they were the last to get the word by design? One of the reports said they had just got word from the Kennedy spokes person of his death. I’ll bet it was done on purpose.
Well, it just hit FR. They are trying to name the health care bill after him!
parsy, who anticipated as much
Very nice summary
condolences for the family.
I have nothing but disparagement for him including his selfish failure to resign months ago to help his state and party. His failure was conservatives gain.
A person’s state of wealth has no influence over whetehr he/she can receive a saving Sacrament.

My father always said if I couldn’t say something good about the dead I shouldn’t say anything. So, I’m not saying anything. RIP Mary Jo Kopeckne.
