All foreign aid should be stopped.

There is nothing even remotely in any our founding documents that indicate the King shall tax its citizens and send its treasure to foreign kings.

Agreed.

It's wrong constitutionally and morally.

It doesn't help foreign countries any more than welfare helps people here. In fact, it hurts them.

“All foreign aid should be stopped”

I didn’t know much about how foreign aid is doled out until 5 years ago when I moved to Eastern europe. If Americans with any sense (we KNOW who the other ones are) knew how little “AID” ever gets to the people who really need it that would start a taxpayer revolt. Far as I can see about 65 or 70% stays inside the beltway and falls into the hands of a bunch of slimebags who are only enriching themselves...whats left gets mostly eaten up by the local bureaucracy in the receiving country, and maybe 5 or 10% gets used on some stupid program that does no good anyway. The thing that really tops it off is the title they MAKE the local managers use: “Chief of Party”. I met one and when I saw the card I immediately said.. “Chief of Party?.. and thats the party you are having spending my tax dollars??”

ONLY a libtard bureaucrat would come up with a title like “Chief of Party”

Well, if you want your friends to fail so that you'll later deal with the strengthened enemies, you certainly have a point there...

Our government has also existed on tariffs for most of its history --- do you want a return to that too?

You’ve got a good point there. During the Cold War, we could justify it because propping up these friendly regimes was essential to our National Security strategies. Nowadays, there still may be some strategic interests we need to “buy off” but we really should take a look at the whole mess and see how much we can scrap as soon as possible.
