The natural spin off from this technology will be a colon cancer detector that you fart into.I don't even want to THINK about the prostate cancer detector!!!

LOL... I think that would work.
They just removed 10 polyps from mine 3 days ago. This was my first, uh, .... date .... I didn’t like it one bit. ;>)

Cool. But why not just sniff for tobacco-breath?Maybe because only 7% of cigarette smokers get lung cancer.

The fentanyl made me a trifle drunk, and I began to think it was funny. When I started singing "Sentimental Journey" the doctor and staff started laughing so hard he stopped for a minute.

Also because many of us quit years and years ago but are not "safe".

3.5% of those who have never smoked aren’t safe either.

The crotch sniffing dog might work for the prostate.

Interesting. But what percentage of folks with lung cancer are cigarette smokers?

Where did you find that number? I’m coming up with more like .8 to 1.1%

85% of lung cancer deaths are smokers or former smokers. Fifteen percent never-smokers.

I found my numbers in American Heart and Lung Association literature about 15+ years ago. I have found that it is very hard to find any statistics on lung cancer deaths now. Where did you get your figures?

Thought you might find this interesting, neverdem.
I consider this a great idea if it proves reliable.
There are also dogs who’ve naturally detected skin cancer in their owners. Based on those anecdotes, the Brits (I think it was them) have studied dogs as a diagnostic tool for skin cancers.

I googled it at work and now I can’t find the same site. I had all sorts of graphs and tables.
