Thats what I was thinking. It would be great if we could set up a “democracy fund” for the honduran people to show our solidarity with them. Obama and the dems be damned!

More U.S. pressure on the interim Honduran government.
Here is the official State Department
press release issued today.
Here's what's new:
- The State Department formally declares Zelaya's removal a coup d'etat.
- $16 million in military assistance, previously suspended, is now ended.
- More visa revocations: The Department of State further announces that we have identified individual members and supporters of the de facto regime whose visas are in the process of being revoked.
The USG had previously revoked visas of four high interim government officials including Jose Tomas Arita. He's the Supreme Court magistrate who issued the arrest warrants for Zelaya on June 26th. And last week the administration stopped issuing visas to Hondurans except for emergency cases and immigrants.
According to media reports, the board of directors of the U.S. government-owned Millenium Challenge Corporation are to meet next week to consider revoking reportedly $200 million in aid. Secretary of State Clinton chairs this corporation, so I expect the revocation will go through.

With this current Government, thats more a badge of honor and a feather in the cap than anything else. Honestly they are better off with out having to “pay back” any of this administrations ‘favors’.
