WASHINGTON — In one fell swoop, President Barack Obama must regain the public's attention on health care, explain in detail exactly what he wants in a final deal, unify a restless Democratic Party, prod Congress to get him a bill and bring clarity to a bewildering debate.

No! Barack Obama must find a distractor so people do not focus on his hellthcare plan. When people PAY ATTENTION to his HELLthcare plan they want to throw him and ALL of congress out of office!
One speech will not restore the trust of the American people. Millions of folks are yelling “We Don’t Trust You!!” Millions are saying the same to their Representatives that do not represent them. Trust is a very hard thing to restore and as the saying goes “Actions speak louder than words.” As a townhall participant said: You have awakened a “Sleeping Giant” and you better listen and respond.
Obozo’s speeches are now like the “Boy Who Cried Wolf”. Soon everyone will stop listening.
Another fawning editorial masquerading as news. AP becomes more vile each day. AP should publicly fly the swastika from its flagpole.
The fact he has scheduled the speech means he has failed.
He may retreat and embrace aspects of the Republican proposal for reform but that is failure. His opportunity for lasting fame has slipped away while everyone was on vacation.
There was a guy in Germany who gave a great speech and took a lot of vacations. He preferred the mountains, however.

The guy has been in office for 8 months.
He has yet to show even the slightest bit of leadership.
Why? Because he has none.
Geez, he "returned" from vacation Sunday the 30th, and has already left for a little more vacation on Wednesday the 2nd. When IS the vacation over?
And he is not the man who has the ability to do it. Agree or disagree with his positions, he could have shown leadership and focus and accomplished what he wanted to do. Instead he left it up to Pelosi and the committee chairs, most of which hate her and each other, and allowed his opposition to provide the message. He's failed, and in the end they will pass a bill that will do nothing but make things worse just so they can say they passed something.
Not to worry, he has it covered!

Whenever we have yet another prime time infomercial by Obi Wan Nairobi, I think about my visits to Haiti about 10 years ago.
Our host had a TV. When we asked why she never had it on, she replied, It was just Aristide, all the time.
When I would take walks in the evening, I would hear a few TVs on, and sure enough, it was Aristide with his endless drivel.
I get so tickled when you all use the term TOTUS, (Teleprompter of the United States). That term just supports our suspicion that all he really is is a voice that repeats words that others have written.
Since we don't know the authorship of these words and the agenda behind them, why bother listening.
If Congress had the courage, they should begin hearings on every aspect of his executive branch; his appointments, his citizenship, his spending.
But they won't, because they have become tools for each other.
