A group cited by U.S. officials as a domestic terrorism threat claimed responsibility Friday for knocking down two radio station towers in Snohomish County, Washington. Much of the tower system, owned by radio station KRKO, was "flattened like a pancake," the manager said.

The Earth Liberation Front (ELF) issued a statement saying opponents of the towers argue that "AM radio waves cause adverse health effects including a higher rate of cancer, harm to wildlife, and that the signals have been interfering with home phone and intercom lines."
"When all legal channels of opposition have been exhausted, concerned citizens have to take action into their own hands to protect life and the planet," Jason Crawford, a spokesman for the group, said in a news release.
Members of ELF have been sentenced for acts of domestic terrorism in the past.

An AM radio station in Allentown, Pennsylvania was targeted also. A tower was toppled Friday according to sister radio station WHP in Harrisburg yesterday.
WAEB is owned by Clear Channel and carries Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

Read once, read twice, read thrice - same level of total whacko ‘intelligence’. These people, when questioned, freely claim that human beings are a cancer to the planet and need to be gone. Since they fail to absent themselves voluntarily, I hereby propose that they be declared a ‘public nuisance’ and a bounty placed on their ears when turned in to the proper authorities. Then if you see someone sans ears walking about, you can guard you and yours appropriately.
I just can't picture these people using phones and intercoms. Tin cans and string? Yes.

I agree with this. It is long past time to put bullets into these spoiled and ignorant brats. Perhaps this incident will convince the rest of the world that these movements are full of stoners and middle aged stoners who substituted science and reason with temper tantrums and pot. If they won't listen to reason, they can listen to gunfire.
