Why does Savage not get any respect? Not from State Media types, nor Talk/Print Conservatives?

I almost hear an emotinal breakdown in his voice the last few weeks over it.

He says he doesn't care, but he's talked about it every day I've listened the last two weeks.

So with John and Ken and Savage now in San Fran. Will it implode?

Umm, their “Have You Seen?” photos might not be safe at work.

Just a friendly warning.

I’d never seen their site before.

I am a Sarah Palin supporter, thus I'm not a Savage fan.

However, I do listen about 30 mins on the drive home to hear what he's complaining about. ...usually Limbaugh, Hannity & O'Reilly.

Savage has his good days, I'll give him that.

When he was taken off this week everyone seemed to be upset and then we found he was replaced by John and Ken here in Los Angeles. They speak conservative but we have Bill Handle and Doug Macintire here that voted for Obama, voted yes on prop 8, gov health care and support most non-conservative positions but john and ken tend to yell a good game -

So now savage is back on as well - in that liberal area they must be going nuts.

Savage is a polarizing figure even amongst conservatives.

Sure, he’s bombastic, hugely egotistical and has a chip on his shoulder. His show spins out of control into topics that have absolutely no interest to listeners at times too.

However when he is right on target he’s as good as if not better than any radio talk show host out there. He gets no credit for anything he does even in the conservative blogosphere partly because of his abrasive on air personality which he says is not a character.

I feel badly for the guy, I heard part of his show this week and he said “I’m all alone in this world.” lamenting his lack of family and close personal friends. He really is a pariah but really no one takes as many non-PC stands as he does.

Well, Savage was on KSTE before he got kicked off KNEW but I don’t know any Bay Area folks to listen to it (unless they commute to Sacramento for work) because we have 2 conservative stations here.

Sarah Palin is wonderful.

Michael Savage is wrong about her.

But I don’t take it out on Savage personally.

Savage is wildly inconsistent in applying even his own viewpoints.

He continues to sometimes ask “Why not Romney?”, even though I know he would despise everything Romney stands for.

It’s all schtick. On several occasions I’ve heard him trying to hold back from laughing when going into a conservative talking points rant.

Banned from Britain...lol...no one gives a sh*t...

I like Savage, and when he’s on a good roll, he’s usually right.

He says what the others won’t, what a lot of us are thinking as well.

I wish he wouldn’t come on so nasty about the rest of them.

I can sort of see his point at times, because the others don’t go as far as he does in naming the threats of our time, but I do wish he wouldn’t attack the others.

He may be bitter because not many other hosts have stepped up to defend him and IIRC, a long time ago, he would defend the others when they were attacked.

I prefer Levin these days, but I keep checking back to Savage for his occasional lucid, on-target monologues.
