On September 12, 2009 American conservative of all persuasions showed that they had awaken . Millions of Americans all over the country protested the out of control spending, economic-ruining, socialistic and unconstitutional tendancies of the current politicians in Washington DC, and particularly the Obama administration. Estimates ranged from 2 million by the Daily Mail in the UK, to near one million by Homeland Security, to several hundred thousand by NBC. Watching it on TV, I believe there were a million or more in Washington DC. See the pictures below and decide for yourself:
And the Official Obama administration response? You guessed it... American citizens are intent on restoring the Constitution. . Conservatives consistantly poll as a large majority of the polical makeup of America...conservative Republicans, conservative independents, and conservative democrats too. When Jimmy Carter ran down America during his presidency between 1976 and 1980, Americans reacted against him and he was defeated in a landslide. The Obama administration policies are worse for America than Jimmy Carter's were, moving more rapidly and with far more abandon than even Carter tried, or Bill Clinton for that matter. The results are going to be the same. Americans want to restore the Constitutional Republic, based on the US Constitution and its foundational moral and republican principles. They are not asking for this...they are demanding it. And they will have satisfaction. Starting in 2010 with the largest overturn in the history of the House and Senate in a single election, and proceeding through 2012, the American people showed on 9/12/2009 that they are willing and more than capable of taking these measures into their onw hands. Current liberal, socialistic, marxistic, and RINO politicians ignore this at their own mortal political peril...and justifiably so. Neuter them in 2010...send them packing in 2012! I meant to write, for a million there would have had to been people all the way from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol (not the Whitehouse).
Now I see, according to the "crowd estimator" tool on Michele Malkin's site, it would take 1.5 mil + to fill that amount of space.
I bet we'll have 3 million next year!!
Yes, it WAS huge, and 200,000 people ain’t chicken feed. Depending on the other estimates, 1 million to a hair over 2 million people joined the DC marchers in their own way by holding simultaneous protests across the country.
Too funny!

Great pictures, Jeff.
Sorry...I gathered photos from around the web and they are being posted all over. Folks see them one place and post them another. No slight was meant. I was not there and so none of them are mine. Just wanted to get the word out.
Am planning to be there in the Summer of 2010 to present our petition and signatures to Congress. We will schedule that event to coincide with other 912 and Tea Party events before the mid terms.
Did the White House seriously say there were no protests in DC on 9/12? Or is that a joke?
Hey, it the top picture I’m the third on the right.
[I want a credible estimate of the crowd by an objective third party with expertise and/or experience in estimating crowds]
How’s a hostile 3rd party estimate? NBC reporter said HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS!
That’s a joke...a parody of Baghdad Bob or whatever his names was.
"...please spread it around.."
Done! ; - )
BTW, will find link, but WashPo reported that Obama took Marine One over the march on his way to MN.
Outstanding. Then he would have seen for himself and that is exactly what was needed.

Jeff feel FRee to post any of the photos I posted.
What do we do now? Here's my suggestion: read Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.
I knew it was a joke but since it was in quotes, I thought they really said it. Nothing would surprise me. Gibbs did say, on Friday, that the WH had heard nothing about any protest planned for this weekend and we know that was a bald faced lie.
We were not allowed on the mall because they said we did not have the permits. Everyone started yelling, “It’s our mall.” and they opened it up.
Personally, I don’t think the organizers nor anyone else anticipated this type of crowd. There weren’t any outdoor bathroom facilities nor was the speaker system adequate for people to hear all the way down to the Washington monument. In spite of all the things people could have complained about, everyone had a great time. Dick Armey said they would do it again next year.
Also, for anyone interested, here's a link to the photobucket album of mine from the day:
They should do it late next summer before the mid-terms.
