Boot Olbermann from NFL show
Ace of Spades ^ | 09.14.09 | Uncle Jimbo

Posted on 09/14/2009 10:56:16 AM PDT by Dr. Marten

Keith Olbermann is a reprehensible swine, on a good day. The last thing I want to see when I turn on the television to watch the greatest rivalry on earth (Packers v. Bears) is the smirking face of the least talented, least fair, least honest person on television doing the pre-game show. It turned my stomach and I turned the channel. I did the same at halftime and I'm certainly not the only one. Olbermann is not funny anymore and he is such a partisan scumbag that it is an insult to football fans to have him anywhere near the greatest sport there is. So let's get him booted off. I wrote an email to NBC Sports President Dick Ebersol and so should you. Tell your friends, send Rush a note, Tell O' Reilly, let's put the screws to these people and get that scumbag off our football and back to the channel where all 50 of his fans watch him.

It’s an awful thing to force football fans to listen to Olbermann’s voice. It really is. I don’t have a problem with his having his own show on MSNBC- I can choose to not watch him. BUT it’s truly unfair to put us in a position to have to listen to him in a non-political venue.

This is why God gave us the mute button.

Olberturd is a good sports announcer. He is also a turd. I honestly could stand it if he dropped his retarrted TV show and stuck solely to sports. If he stepped out of line there, he would be crushed and tossed aside.

I have the sound muted on football games, that way I don’t get mad at all the stupid comments.

I don’t watch the pre-game when he is on and switch to Fox if I see him at half time. You would think the advertisers would get the message. Maybe they have, since the only commercial I can remember was for Leno.

I did too. I couldn’t believe my ears. But then again did you see the bunch of losers that they had up there behind the desk?

Another Bears game where you’re taken to the very end, and they break your heart.

My lame workaround last night was to hit the mute button when he spoke, but I couldn’t agree more.

Why would Urban Meyer leave FL - great weather & the best gig in college football?

Brian Kelly was mentioned previously as Weiss' successor if he continues to lose. A very successful coach, has UC in top 20 and scoring a ton of points.

I'd hate to see Kelly leave UC but he definitely has a bigger position in mind.

Meyer has it written into his Florida contract that he can leave for the ND job. If he wins another title at Florida this year, what is left for him to accomplish at UF?

Good point - didn't know his contract out since I'm up here near Cincinnati.

No question, ND will go after a proven winner in COLLEGE football and not go to the pros again although Pete Carroll has done an "OK" job at USC. :-)

How many people (besides me) half to turn the mute on to avoid hearing Chris Collinsworth? Man I can't stand that arrogant punk.

What was left for Bear Bryant to accomplish at Bama? Or Joe Paterno at Penn State? Or Woody Hayes?

300 (albeit censored) was on one of the Turner-channels. That’s what I watched.

Each time you watch or pruchase products from people or companies that support the left you are supporting the left.

I do not watch or support them.

I just watch NFL network highlights til the kickoff, then again at halftime.

I will never watch a show with Olberman on it. Ever.
