ANOTHER boy has turned up at school as a girl, it emerged yesterday - this time aged NINE.
Parents rapped the primary school in southern England for not alerting them, and for telling pupils at a special assembly.
Yesterday The Sun revealed that a boy of 12 had started the new term at secondary school as a girl.
Classmates of the nine-year-old sex-change boy were told he had left and been replaced by a girl.
The pupil returned to school the next day - in female uniform, with long hair in a ponytail, tied in pink ribbon.
Parents faced a flurry of questions from their bemused kids after school - and blasted staff at the primary for not informing them of the switch.
One concerned mum said: "My son came home from school and asked why one of his friends had become a girl. I thought he was joking, but he kept asking - that's when alarm bells began ringing.
"The pupil's classmates were told he had left and that a new girl would be starting in his place this term."
The Year Five children were told of what is believed to be Britain's youngest gender swap at the end of their first day back after the summer break.
A special assembly was held by the school's female head, their class teacher and the sex-change pupil's special needs teacher.
As the meeting progressed, staff seemed to acknowledge that the "new" pupil might be recognised by classmates.
The kids were told to call the pupil by a new name - which had been taped to a classroom peg.
The mum added: "They were told the new girl would be using the girls' toilet and that no-one should tease or bully her.

Thank God there is an ocean between the U.S. and Great Britain!
You mean you can get a SEX CHANGE operation for a pre-adolescent in Britain, but you can’t use (apparently) scarce medical resources to save a premie infant born 2 days too “early”??? How screwed up IS that country??
The big question here is why the child would be having this surgery at this late age? If it's a real medical condition, then there's malpractice. If it's a parental decision that their kid is gay, then it's child abuse.
I was the youngest, and the only boy in the house. My two older sisters shared a room and did everything together. I felt really left out.
One day I began to wonder if I had been a girl, would I get to do more stuff with them. Five minutes later I found some really cool worms, big fat ones. I chased my sisters around the yard and threw the worms in their hair.
I bet if these "girly boys" were given a chance to act like boys they would want to maintain their factory installed equipment.
If the child really has a genuine issue they parents are negligent for creating a spectacle out of their child’s life. A real parent with the interest of the child in mind would take steps to be discreet about such a matter.
They would move to another town, and enroll the child in a different school rather than forcing all of the other kids to conform. This whole idea of making the other children have to deal will do nothing but make their child a target of ridicule and scorn from the other children.
Children are mean, that is because they are “Base Level” and they need to be taught civilized behavior. This poor kid, real issue or not is going to be torn apart like a lamb among wolves.
Just that aspect alone makes me want to slap the idiot parents.
The parents should really take a “wait and see” approach to this issue and maybe even see about delaying puberty a few years if that is possible for their child and maybe get a few dozen more second opinions before making a change to their child’s life that may be regretted down the road.
The parents and the government are engaged in extreme criminal abuse of this BOY.
