” Several years ago, I believe it was the mid 70s, the Chicago school teachers were on strike, a T.V. guy was interviewing the picketers and he ask one woman, “What do you teach’?

I’ll never forget her reply, she said, “I teaches English’. “

Good God!

“Hey - give it a break! She’s a reading teacher. She don’t have to talk good. “

Sorry.

Parents to teacher: “I have your voice recorded with these threats. If you ever speak to my child like this again I am going to have your job and then I am going to break your neck.””

IMO, this is a situation where ONE strike ==THREE strikes.

My kids would be OUT of that school, and I would be at my lawyer’s office in a sprint.

This “person” would never get another chance to say one single word to any member of my family, except in a well-publicized court setting.

Too funny - My husband calls him Quanell Ten! Evidently Quanell, our local race-baiting camera hog, smells his own blood in the water. He must know that average Americans are FED UP with the current corruption and picking on our kids is THE LAST STRAW!

Between this kind of crap and the brainwashed Obama-singing Kindergarteners, I’m beginning to think...

SCHOOL VOUCHERS

...are about to become a really hot topic with the US middle class.

Any more of this crap and the middle class is going to demand that they have more choice where their kids go to school, paid for witih their own tax.

Hey, Obowma! We don’t need “health reform”. We need government school reform.

Any Republican who wants to get elected in 2010 can start by promising, and then acting to delievr on the promise, to end the National Education Association. It has been talked about, but people are ready to elect you on that. You can help parents and still say they you were able to shrink government.

"This is the result of Obamna worship in the public schools. "

This is the result of Obamna worship in the public government schools.

Back when we actually had "public" schools, scum like this teacher wouldn't have been permitted to teach very long before being booted by the (then) parents.

To get to the current state of affairs has required:

  1. The takeover by the government during the 60's & 70's in order to create "government" schools suitable for proselytizing the Marxist/Fabian agenda; and,
  2. The criminal child abuse by the birth parents who have continued to incarcerate their offspring in these indoctrination asylums.

There is no possible way to retake the power of educating the governments children away from the government....None!
(And don't think that "home schooling" will be tolerated much longer if the 2010 elections don't thoroughly flush all the demoncrat & republocrat Marxists down the DC toilet.)

These totalitarian enterprises must be totally abolished.

I would sue the school district and the teacher. The school board needs to experience some hurt by their actions as well as the teacher. I’m usually against these kind of suits but it seems that the district and the teacher need to experience some discomfort and financial loss over this.

We could play their own game and claim child is now afraid of school, experiences tramatic fits when he/she is in the same room as a teacher and now has no ability to learn and therefore all future earnings will be affected and earnings of the parents will be affected as they will have to support the child for life. It’s affected the child’s personality who now can not make friends, get married or have children. 1 billion should do the trick and attorney’s fees.

I don’t get the May date on the video you posted, do you?

I'm guessing this family's problems with her started last year. I didn't notice it was the same family until I re-read the article.

The parents and all concerned citizens need to march into the principal's office of that school and demand that she be fired.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Other Marxists hire them.

They aren’t nuts. They are behaving rationally!

Communist Goals:

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

Thanks for that. Seesh, kids are going through a hell in their schools.

Well, I guess that’s some of the socialization my homeschooled grandkids are missing out on. Damn!

Waste of time! Another Marxist would be hired in her place.

Government schools need two things: Students and money!

Solution: Do all of the following simultaneously:

**Conservatives must remove their kids, and encourage others to do the same.

**Conservatives must set up private educational foundations that would award grants to conservative teachers. These conservative teachers would open tuition-free, private, conservative one room school houses. The foundations would certify the teacher, approve the curriculum, and test the students. The foundations would also organize extracurricular activities such as sports leagues.

**Then must organize to shut down all government K-12 schools, and starve these schools of all money.

Back when we actually had “public” schools,

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

They were **always** socialist!

We should remember that government schools from their very beginning in the mid 1800s to the early 1900s have been an object lesson in socialism. For 13 years children learn that the government can take money from their neighbor to buy a service that their parents want for free. Even worse, their teachers indoctrinate them into believing this it is **right** for the government to threaten their neighbors with police force to get this money.

Geeze! It only took 1 to 3 generations for our nation to vote for the IRS, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the New Deal. It's been downhill ever since.

Obama worship is just a few more degrees down on the “downhill slide” into communism.

“Pass the Trash”

Schools cut secret deals with abusive teachers

http://www.oregonlive.com/special/index.ssf/2008/02/schools_cut_secret_deals_with.html

It would take months for the agency that licenses Oregon teachers to discipline a Salem-area teacher for inappropriately touching at least eight girls.

To get Kenneth John Cushing, then 44, away from Claggett Creek Middle School students immediately, administrators cut him a deal: If Cushing resigned, they would conceal his alleged conduct — clutching students’ waists, touching their buttocks and massaging their shoulders — from the public.

Cushing signed the pact — obtained by The Oregonian through public records requests — with Salem-Keizer Public Schools in 2004, and officials promised not to reveal the teacher’s behavior if potential employers called looking for a reference. They would attribute his departure to “personal reasons,” the document reads, and make “no reference to this agreement.”

Salem’s deal is just one of 47 similar confidential settlement agreements obtained or confirmed by the newspaper.

During the past five years, nearly half of Oregon teachers disciplined for sexual misconduct with a child left their school districts with confidential agreements. Most, like Cushing’s, promised to keep alleged abuse quiet. Some promised cash settlements, health insurance and letters of recommendation as incentives for a resignation.

The practice is so widespread, school officials across the country call it “passing the trash.”

The Oregonian reviewed 767 cases of educator misconduct over the past 10 years in which the state commission revoked or suspended licenses for misbehavior. Sex-related offenses ranked the most common, and in 165 cases the agency disciplined educators for misconduct ranging from touching students or sending them love notes to molestation and rape.

This, of course, is a tiny fraction of the 35,000 educators who teach, mentor and coach in Oregon.

[Cushing] went on to teach at a charter school in Tucson, Ariz., in the 2006-07 school year ...

Sell the public schools, all their land, buildings, and assets, seize their banks accounts, and distribute the proceeds to pay out multi-million dollar judgments, while villifying unindicted officials including the principals, the members of the local school board, the head of the state Dept. of Education, and the No Child Left Behind program.

Bad bullying teachers can traumatize little children. I taught 3rd and 4th graders and saw it happen again and again and nothing was done.

Actually, cameras in every classroom might go a long way to cleaning up what’s wrong with our education system but I know the NEA members would oppose it with every strength they have (political pull).
