I don’t get it -
we’re supposed to continue doing what we’ve been doing,

Whereas I tend to agree with the author on Beck seeking credit & attention, especially with the march on 9/12, but commenting that President Obama is a racist is one of the most on-target things he’s said.
Yeah...they said Sarah Palin was bad for the ticketr for this exact reason.

As a journalist, he needs to brush up on his writing technique. It’s very scattershot. I found it irritating that he kept leading up to a point, over and over, before finally making it.

This guy is nuts. How is it “outrageous” to call Obama a racist? Would anyone suppose that if a white man had been a member of a racist church with a racist pastor with a racist theology for 20 years he would not be considered a racist?

Notice when CNN was able to “contain” beck on their left wing education camp, Beck was ok.
Now that Beck is exposing the left wing AND BELTWAY INSIDER STUPIDITY, the effete elites do not like it.
I don't watch Beck. But even I know this isn't true.
The media "put him up" when they had to...when they realized that what Beck was saying was actually being acted upon in DC.
When Beck got Van Jones fired, Beck became the story. Not because the media were laughing at him...but because they realized he was becoming effective.
If that’s the case, the left should just leave Beck alone. I don’t believe that is happening.

There’s a certain childishness, a kind of wacky immaturity, that Beck exhibits, and it bugs serious people. He’s not on a par with Limbaugh or O’Reilly. The manic atmosphere he operates in suggests instability, and I won’t be at all surprised if he crashes and burns.
Yeah, Beck has really done as all in now. Nobody ever called Conservatives racists before he came along. And now, because of Beck, they'll all probably start denouncing us as some "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy" or something.
It also takes courage and bravery. Beck got that also. Levin needs a hobby.

I’m guessing his many friends would be: Levin, the US Chamber of Commerce, “conservatives” like Graham and McCain, everyone at the Wall Street Journal & the Weekly Standard, and a dirty, egg-sucking dog that sleeps in a hole right off old Route 66 just outside Amarillo, Texas.

Not a bad article. Unlike Kathleen Parker and Peggy Noonan, the writer at least attempts to convince readers. A much more serious writer than David Frum.
Glenn Beck is an American hero and the left and the MSM will spin things against us no matter how we behave. We may as well help bring down some real goons like Van Jones and this nutbag Cass Sunstein.
I think it’s a little strange that the writer spent THREE paragraphs talking about how Glenn Beck rightly pointed out that Obama was a racist who hated white culture and, by default, white people. Obama referred to his grandmother as a typical white person and used her sickness at the end of the campaign for a publicity stunt.
