13-Year-Old's Testimony Tells Story Behind Polanski's Guilty Plea to Unlawful Sexual Intercourse

In the more than 30 years since director Roman Polanski pleaded guilty to having sex with a 13-year-old girl and then fled the country before he was sentenced, he has continued to make movies and even won an Academy Award.

It probably will happen. But hopefully less and less people will buy hollywood supporters’ projects and films. They are becoming a small self congratulatory circle.

—Polanski is extradited back to California. —The victim (now adult) doesn’t wish to relive the crime and refuses to testify.

Probably won't happen. His case has become a cause celebre in Europe.I'll wager that he's never returned.

—Having found a lenient California judge, Polanski gets a few months in jail at most.

In the slim chance of him actually being extradited it doesn't matter.*He plead guilty*.

—After serving time, he can then return to the U.S. at will because he is no longer a fugitive.

In the *highly* unlikely even that he's returned here and serves time, the INS has full authority to deport him and then to ban him as an "undesirable alien".But,admittedly, that won't happen under any RAT administration.

—He is treated as a hero in Hollywood and the rest of the media quickly comes around to this point of view.

That's already happened. He's loved by the "beautiful people" of this country as well as by the limp-wristed cowards of Europe.

"I don’t know about the rest of you, but that’s nightmarish to me. Don’t doubt it, either. It can happen."

Remember, he's already plead guilty and fled the jurisdiction of the tribunal before he was sentenced. There's no reason that the victim would have to testify - hence the purpose of the plea in the first place.

Also, he's looking at a felonious failure to appear from 1977 - the statute of limitation has not run out on that charge and it doesn't require the victim to testify. Long story short, he's going to see some real jail-time if he's returned to the US. And yes, I know about the case's problems and I say to them, "don't believe everything you see on HBO."

Okay, then I retract the trial part. I had assumed that his defense would claim that the original trial was tainted, retract his guilty plea and try to start over so he could get a “not guilty”. The more I think about it, the less sense it makes. I stick by the rest of it, though.

If he’s extradited, he gets a slap on the wrist and becomes a hero, then he can come and go as he pleases. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it (unless something else gets pointed out).

It was Sharon Tate who was his wife.

So of course when anyone lives through a horrible life experience, the only way to make them all better is to anally rape a 13 year old?

You've obviously never heard of Judge Ito...or the OJ jury.

This is proof. The left believes in a nation of men, not laws. Unless we fight back we will be surfs to these bastards.

LOL - the names and places are vaguely familiar.

Look, even in California, pedophiles don't fair very well. While not everyone dates a Ferrari driving beautiful blond ex-wife of a football star , most jurors either are parents, or know young girls who they don't want to see raped.

The problem here isn't what happens once he's returned. The problem is getting him returned first - which is a herculean task. But, and it's a big but, if he finds his feet back on American soil, considering he's a man in his 70's, he'll die in prison.

Interesting that this all breaks soon after the woman who was convicted for murdering Polanski’s pregnant wife dies.

Not getting involved with this one.

I remember them (Sharon Tate+Roman Polanski ) from Vincent Bugliosi 1970s book+TV movie Helter Skelter.

Gentlemen, you are looking at this Polanski matter the wrong way.

The Prophet (PBUH) married Aisha at 6. And from reliable Islamic records, Mohammed (SAAW) would interrupt Aisha's doll playing with her friends when she was 9 so he could slake his needs. So what is this issue about 13?! The girl was marriageable at 6 according to the Holy Quran.

Polanski was a merely Muslim-in-training and is to be understood as a bedroom mujahadeen who was fighting Zionist war criminals at the most basic level. Polanski is the victim, and the girl?! She is a defiler of honor.

The whole Islamic World sees no problem here. What is the problem? Clearly, this girl acted like she was in a harem. It was a Muta marriage and a fair price was paid.

Oh believer, see here for the truth The Prophet was Right.

Are not women the property of men? Did not Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful make women only for men to enjoy? And what of the girl?! Didn't she entince this Muslim-in-training? Who is the villain here, oh infidel?
Lo! Allah, the Great and Mighty, and look not at the donkey and camel while the fig is purple for the Zionists have dyed the dates. (Surah 73:5)
Were there 4 Islami to witness this?! If not, then our Muslim-in-training is innocent.

If punishment must be meted out, let the female be hung for defiling her family's honor. This is an open and shut case.

I am shocked that you cannot see this.

For the monkey and the women are equal before the Jinn! But monkeys smell nicer than women of Arabiya in black burqa in the tropical sun.

And touch not the menstruating daughter while eating spaghetti.

Lo, the Zionists are pigs.

And Allah, the Merciful is above all. And peace be upon his Apostle.

(Surah 102:25-28)
All Polanski has to do is declare that all along he was following the unimpeachable example of the Apostle of Peace (PBUH).

Let Polanski declare his is a Muslim, and the Europeans will immediately recognize his virtue - for the Apostle of Peace (PBUH) is the standard of all virtue. And Aisha never complained.

This is all that need be done. The girl was over 6 years old, and should be shot for dishonoring her tribe.

Ah, the Religion of Peace, and the Apostle of Peace, Mohammed (LIAR).

</sarcasm>

THe guilty plea can be withdrawn if the plea bargain is not held to.

The Judge was going to reneg.

So the plea bargain can be withdrawn.

A new trial is necessary.

Things could backfire.

Unlawful Flight to avoid a sentence is in itself a crime. Nowadays, the usual procedure is to sentence a bail-jumper in absentia. I don't know whether that was done in this case.

Remember, it was Roman Polanski himself who vitiated the plea deal by running. Now, he could as easily get a very harsh sentence as a slap on the wrist. Indeed, he could get more time for thumbing his nose at the court than for the admitted rape.

His biggest crime wasn’t the crime he was originally charged with. It was the crime of flaunting the law fleeing the country before justice could be served.
