FRiends...can you imagine the possibilities with Rush owning the Rams? Heads on the communist left would go into orbit if they had to watch Rams owner Rush Limbaugh receiving the Super Bowl trophy after the Rams victory in 2014. Wouldn’t it be even better if NBC was broadcasting the game that year? Olbermann having to interview the victorious owner on live TV in front of fifty million viewers? Rush receiving the congratulatory phone call from President Sarah Heath Palin?

Hmm. I’m not much of a football watcher these days, but it seems to me that the money quote may be buried down near the bottom of the story:

“Los Angeles is still without a team, and a loophole in the Rams’ lease allows them to move as early as 2014 if the Edward Jones Dome is not deemed among the top quarter of all NFL stadiums. Though just 14 years old, the dome is fast becoming one of the league’s older venues, and getting it into the top quarter seems unlikely.”

Hell for liberal sports writers would be watching Rush being handed the Vince Lombardi trophy (although the way the Rams are going that won’t be for a few years at the earliest).

As a hardcore Steelers fan, I do not want to see this happen as obviously he would no longer be a fan of the greatest football team in the NFL.

I don’t see the League allowing it. There will be protests if they think about it.

Illiterate and hateful liberals, assuming their usual, vastly ignorant perspective, are claiming that with Rush as part owner, the team won’t have any black players.

I’m a big fan of Rush and part of me hopes he does this, but if he does, stand by for the snarkiness of the mediocre. The difference between us as conservatives and liberals is that liberals view liberalism as a religion it’s so very tied to their identity.

We conservatives wouldn’t go on a non-stop whinefest if Michael Moore bought an NFL, so why is the left so hyper-intolerant???

Restaurants, if they have a TV on, need to keep it tuned in to something very banal like ESPN or CNN - if it’s on Fox New or something substantive then the liberals will throw salt shakers at the TV screen and assault the greeting girls at the front door on the way out.

The left is hyper-intolerant.

I have a soft spot for the Rams as one of the few teams that manage to make my beloved Chiefs look good.

oh yeah...this is gonna be FUN! Especially if they get into a game where they pick Donovan McNabb five times. “Reject Cap and Tax” patches on all the player uniforms! And what about if they make a coaching change and the NFL tries to enforce the Rooney Rule? Not to mention all of the exploding heads on ESPN’s Countdown show!!

Here in L.A. we fondly (well not really) refer to the Rams as the Pams. Georgia Frontiere did as much as she could to destroy the franchise.

It may be a bargain Rush, but are you sure? ;-)
