I don’t know what is more astounding, this or the fact they didn’t do this with a no-line lottery system.
I know. It sure is hard on folks standing on line waiting for that free money! Some of the recipients actually testify to that fact on interview on the video..

Well, in this case a lottery system would probably mean a more peaceful scene. This is going to turn into clownsville vigil, with people peeing on the sidewalk and such.
People with jobs should bring the money to them...
Better yet, just take it from the taxpayer’s paycheck and direct deposit it into a cash card for them...

Remember when Katrina hit in NOLA and all those people flooded over into Texas. The generations of welfare recipients, no education, single parent families, no job skills except for theft were all exposed in all their ugliness but they were in one area. BO’s hurricane, however, is sweeping the entire nation. When are all these people that continue to support him and all the government freebies going to wake up and realize that there just isn’t enough for all of them. Winter is coming.

The Australian short term stimulus was $900 given back to people who paid tax in the last year, so the whole system could be done by just looking at the tax records and sending a cheque back. Administration was easy, and it was hard to scam.(Unless people were fraudlently paying extra tax bills)
Also, it was done a few months ago. Seems a little late now.
It is impossible to understate the lure of FREE MONEY! Free money is what keeps the lower classes, lower classes.
When you give somebody just enough money to survive, that is all they will ever have.
When you tell people you have free money, they will line up around the block for it.
There was a time when this would be called ‘welfare’.
