The IRS is taking money out of my Social Security check for a small amount that my ex-husband did not pay on our taxes years ago for a little money I earned and he forgot to include. He is gone now, so there is no way to get him to explain. The amount was only $289.00 and I fought it and lost. Imagine...Charlie gets away with thousands of unpaid taxes and fraud, as do other Dems. And I have my Social Security reduced to pay this small debt!!!

I thought Peter King was better than that. How could he vote that way?

That's just so wrong on so many levels. Whatever happened to parity and equal treatment under the law?. They’re all crooks. We’re being governed by a gang of crooks who are above the laws they enact.

It’s sure a small world. There are more folks living here than back then, but it’s still just as beautiful. I can see the end of the hook from my house on top of Mount Pleasant. I have been here since 1973.

I play on that water, so I love the Coast Guard. Before I retired, one of the many hat’s I wore was that of SAR Coordinator, so I worked very closely with the CG, especially the air support. In the 4 years I had that responsibility, I found every one of you hikers. LOL

The silver lining is that the crook remains highly visible, (a’ la Rostenkowski in 1994) in time for the 2010 elections.

If by silver lining you mean he may fail to win relection no chance. He's a hero in Harlem who never fails to bring home the pork. If you mean we will take over the house and bring him to justice, I'd like in on that dream.

Never be fooled. The Obama Administration has more power than even they hoped for. I beleive that if they called for the public execution of Republicans on Capital Hill tomorrow, the left would not only abstain from trying to intervene, they would cheer it. This is so dispiriting. God help us.

Republicans should get up and call Nancy and her ilk a democrat culture of corruption. As it stands though, Republicans have no balls.

Some days, I think they are already here, and running our government.

Since there's a kenyan in the White House I'd say pretty certainly they are here.

Remember folks that WE are the government. Those people sitting in the chairs at the Capitol and White House are usurpers

Poe (TX) Voted “Present”...

Curious. He's mostly pretty solid from what I've heard about him. Maybe someone in his district can get a reasonable explanation for his odinga style vote.

As far as I’m concerned, there isn’t any “reasonable explanation” for this. I live in Poe’s district and I voted for him since he was a state Judge. I fired off am email and gave him a big “what for?” I’m waiting on the reply..

Repubs voting pro-Rangel

King (NY)

Young (AK)

Rohrabacher (CA) what the hell is his problem, what was that thing he voted wrong on a couple weeks ago? Oh right to admonish Joe Wilson. But he thinks Rangel should stay chairman of Ways and Means? WTH Dana?

Peter King probably is giving a fellow New Yorker some in-state courtesy.

Don Young is hoping by going easy on Rangel, the Feds will go easy on his corruption.

>> King????????????? is he getting senile? <<

Nope. King's always been a reliable RINO who works to keep corrupt RATs in power. He's best known for leading the fight AGAINST the Clinton impeachment back in '98. Perhaps you are confusing RINO Peter King of New York with Conservative Steve King of Iowa.

>> Peter King? WTF? <<

You're surprised the biggest Clinton apologist in the GOP would defend Charlie Rangel as well? I'm not.
