Loyal to Liberty

I just received a call from Orly Taitz, my attorney in the case seeking proof of Obama's eligibility for the Office of President of the United States. Judge Carter has released a statement declaring that the dates he set for the hearing and trial on the eligibility issue are confirmed, and it will move forward as scheduled. Apparently he was not swayed by the Obama lawyer's arguments.

"I provided evidence of his diplomatic work for kenya and a link."

No, you provided evidence of his working for the Kenyan government. Not the same thing. Government employees are not automatically diplomats. The job you referenced was not as a diplomat. He didn't have diplomatic immunity.

"He was never in the US as a Diplomat, rather in Kenya the entire time."

Well there you go. You agree. He wasn't a diplomat.

"I do not claim the need for him to have diplomatic immunity from anything as I contend Obama was born IN Kenya."

But we are talking about the scenario where he is born in Hawaii. That's the subject. If he's born in Hawaii is he a natural born citizen?

Thanks for the info, Dajjal. My assumption would be that very few of these libraries have collections going back to 1961. That is the relevant point I was trying to make.

Anyone falling into these categories is considered natural-born, and is eligible to run for President or Vice President. These provisions allow the children of military families to be considered natural-born, for example.

Go down to the 4 paragraph, and you will find the wording your looking for, it is a discussion forum that specifies US Code:

If you go to Section 1401 of the US Code
http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode08/usc_sec_08_00001401——000-.html
It goes into even more detail

I hope I have answered your question.

Your quite right, after reviewing our conversation, YOU implied by statement the diplomat thing, I mistakenly did not correct you, and off we go to the races.
I did state that he was never a diplomat in the US, which is true, but that alluded to the fact that I implied he was one in Kenya, from your words, which of course, is incorrect.

Who says we are talking about him being born in Hawaii? I have never contended any such thing. I do agree however, that hypothetically, if he were, he would still not qualify for citizenship.

No, sorry you have not answered me, where did the above paragraph come from?

I agree. I should have added that there are many libraries which do not use the World Catalog (aka OCLC). So just as a guesstimate I'd double the 141 number. But those would still almost certainly just be shelving only the latest 1-3 months. But maybe there are 25 +/- that have it on microform or have electronic access to whatever archives are online.

The global library holdings database is worldcat.org.

The perps need not go to every library that maintains microfilm (or microfiche) from the Honolulu Avertiser from August 1961.

Well, if they didn't, then it would be pretty easy to detect their fraud, wouldn't it? Birthers are scattered accross the country. I find it very hard to believe that some birther living near a library with the fiche or film hasn't gone to check it out.

Given Hawaii's relative geographic isolation from the mainland, interest in Hawaii newspaper archives is generally quite minimal elsewhere in the country - this controversy the exception to to the rule

Big city and university libraries will often keep microfilms of even obscure publications. The New York Public library, for example, has all the issues going back to 1959:

http://catalog.nypl.org/iii/encore/record/C%7CRb12638522%7CShonolulu+advertiser%7CFf%3Afacetmediatype%3Ah%3Ah%3AMICROFORM%3A%3A%7CP0%2C2%7COrightresult?lang=eng&suite=pearl

I'm sure there must be at least one birther who can easily access the New York Public Library. With a little more searching on worldcat, I'm sure you'll find other libraries that have it. I would be really surprised if the Library of Congress didn't have it

Furthermore, as others have pointed out, the absence of the birth announcement for the Nordyke twins in either of the posted newspaper Birth Announcement columns is consistent with alterations of the originals,

I'm not so sure the twins' announcement is absent from the paper. Just because their birth isn't announced on the same page as Obama's, or even in the same issue, doesn't mean it wasn't announced. It could be on the next page. Alternatively, it's possible that the data from the health department came in too late to make that issue's deadline, in which case it would be in the next issue that published birth announcements.

I have yet to see a report from anyone who has gone and searched the next page on microfilm or microfiche and the next issue with birth announcements. Have you?

The New York Public Library has the microfiche going back to 1959. See my post above.

I'm sure you'll find others if you spend enough time searching. Another good bet would be libraries at large universities with well-known journalism schools.

I would suspect that only the main Honolulu Public Library and the Newspaper's Office itself would archive paper copies of back issues.

I very much doubt any library has paper copies going back to 1961; they'd be falling appart it they did.

Anything that old has to be on microform, and I have identified at least one mainland library, NYPL, that has the microform.

So if you know any birthers near the NYC area, you can tell them where to go.

Re-read what I wrote, I even gave you the paragraph and two links...if you can’t figure that out, then I cannot help you further.

Your Blackstone passage is talking about children born out of the country.

Obama Jr reportedly WAS born “out of the country”, right? — the country of his FATHER, Barack Sr — who was a British subject up until Dec. 12, 1963, when Barack Sr then became an Kenyan citizen.

"When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children."

... unless ... you now think Obama Jr was born in Mombasa ...

Wow. You really seem to be confused.

We are talking about US law. "Out of the country" would be out of the US. The Blackstone passages you cited were about being born out of the country, but you cited them to support your argument about being an NBC if he's born IN the country. So they don't apply.

I contend he had Dip-omatic Immunity.

Kind of makes me think of the Bass-O-Matic, from Dan Akroyd.

Funny. I've been reading those books. I'm almost at the end of the third one.

The second movie sucked because of the camera operator was going through withdrawals and shook that camera.

I have identified at least one mainland library, NYPL, that has the microform. So if you know any birthers near the NYC area, you can tell them where to go.

That's not the information I'm seeing.

It looks to me like NYP is attached to the OCLC bibliography because they are holding one issue of the newspaper from 6/23/1959. NYP also holds 20 vols. of indexes for the paper, labeled as vols. 1-5 (no dates) plus vols. 1968 - 1988.

http://catalog.nypl.org/iii/encore/search/C%7CShonolulu+advertiser%7COrightresult%7CU1?lang=eng&suite=pearl

So the "birth" notice (which I believe was placed by the grandparents, whether BHO was born in Hawaii or Timbuktoo) will not be at New York Public. If they index the names of births/deaths/marriages, etc., then the name might be in the index -- IF 1961 is part of those "vols. 1-5." Otherwise, NYP will be of no help.

That's one of the problems of looking at the "holdings" for a serial title at OCLC. It could mean the library has every issue or that they have only one issue. The World Catalog will not tell you.

I very much doubt any library has paper copies going back to 1961; they'd be falling appart it they did.

Before microcards and microfilm became widespread in the 1950s/60s, libraries simply kept tons of brittle, old newspapers and magazines.

Watch an old episode of Kolchak where Wally Cox is the newspaper's librarian, and digs up old 19th-century issues for Darren McGavin on mysterious events in the past.

That is the way it was done, before all this newfangled technology.

Another lie. It was only on the birthplace. As another example, upthread here, you’re lying about what “natural born citizen,” as usual. A true slander on Gen. Washington on your part. A real shame.

Another lie on 1155. Pathetic. If you had any honor you'd just kill yourself.

The same would be true of the long-form Birth Certificate you birthers keep demanding.
