Columbus Day is a holiday that the left has nearly destroyed. It isn’t even mentioned at our kids’ school in Cincinnati public and is looked at as an evil white explorer’s day.
Only after this administration and a few ones who realize America’s deep goodness and greatness will it ever be recognized again. That isn’t to say that our founding fathers didn’t have their numerous hypocritical flaws. We don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.
I guess I have a problem with Colombus’ actually “discovering” this continent.
There has been a lot of relics found, including Roman coins and Viking stuff and red-haired “indians”, that would lead us to believe that maybe he really wasn’t the first European. Just got the credit.
