The term "gay rights" is a liguistic bastardization, the same as "budget cuts" when the only "cut" was the difference between the highest proposed raise as opposed to the one that would go into effect. Genuine "cuts" were absent entirely.

Gay "rights" are about taking away the rights of others. Zero rights are bequeathed -- "rights" are being denied.

First, it's not about being a homosexual -- that's between and individual and his/her conscience or God. It IS about being openly homosexual in American society. I think all people have the right to exhibit open homosexualty. I think all people have the right to shun from their own lives those who exhibit it.

When a fellow American chooses to openly display his/her homosexuality, you have no right to openly shun him or her in your business and private life.

You are prohibited from exercising your God-given right, as a parent, to insist that your kid's Boy Scout troup be as far away as possible from anyone openly embracing homosexuality, or that your kid's elementary and high school years be focused on preparing for adulthood instead of listening to those of perverse sexual practices insist that you love them for who they are. As a business owner, you are prohibited from exercising your God-given right to fire an employee whose open homosexuality interferes in the workplace and with customer relations. As a warrior in our armed forces, Obama proposes that you be prohibited from living free of open homosexuality in close quarters.

That third one is also significant because Obama, it appears, is doing what he can to severely cripple our military. Women on submarines? Why not just pass a bunch of cyanide pills among the crew in time of real war and be done with it? It's poison only as deadly. It is humanly impossible for our carriers to be more battle-ready now, with women among the crew, than they were when all men ran the thing. Human nature is a constant -- we cannot reason or wish it away. A military that allows this to happen to itself is one that is headed for weakness and defeat against serious warriors.

Gay "rights" involve zero rights and one hundred percent DENIAL OF RIGHTS.

The man doesn’t give a crap about the military and the war and the rising death toll and it’s time for the media to stop pretending otherwise.

You're right...He only cares about himself and furthering his Marxist agenda here and in countries that will fall for his tripe.

Hi how are ya?!
The press coverage of this has been over the top in the local CT press. Our local NBC, ABC and CBS stations never covered the 9/12 Tea Party Rally like they have the Gay March. Amazing.

Excellent post!

We have the finest military in the world and it seems activists are working overtime to reverse that in conjunction with Obama and a good number of leftist politicians.

The openly gay thing as well as women on subs is just not using common sense but then the PC crowd has never been accused of using that.

Like in any other totalitarian dictatorship: “Re-education camps” (gulags).

It seems to me all the recent gay agitation started with the SNL skit. Why do we have Saturday Night Live and five world-government Marxists in Norway calling the shots? Everyone’s manipulating the sensation-crazy media, even the media itself.

The deviants had their little get together and it was 1/20 the size of the 09/12 march, yet receives ten times the coverage. I’m not surprised at all, it’s just that I’m not used to the media being so blatent about their bias.
