As the news of Obama sending troops to Afghanistan hits the left, the "strongly approve" should fall.

I would not plan on it.

The Leftists don't mind if a Democrat sends troops anywhere. They sat on their asses and said nothing when Clinton waged his faux wars in Iraq and Bosnia.

The only time the Democrats get all worked up about troop deployment is when a Republican President does them

However what will bring that number down is the growing number of "moderates" who are switching from blaming Bush for the economy to wonder when Dear Reader is going to fix it. Right now the majority still blame Bush but that number is shrinking.

Time is not on Dear Readers die.

Romeny or Huckabee or Palin or a name chosen at random from the phone directory would almost undoubtedly be far, far, preferable to the current administration.

Raz had to throw in the bad news (Huckabee, Romney) with the good news (Nobama free fall). Oh, well.

IMO, we MUST find a candidate that has the spine, guts, and, yes, gonads to tell the American people the truth. We’re being destroyed by enemies of America in political office today. Who needs foreign enemies when we have enough right here in elected office. We must find a Patton-style candidate that has the fortitude and love of their country to shove the BS back at the MSM and Liberals. Not one of these three has the guts.

We’re running out of time.

I think naive Republican primary voters will choose Romney because it will be “his turn”, and George W. Romney never got “his turn”.

Could not agree more! These are the very best the rinos can come up with?? They are little better than mccain.

They certainly are not conservatives.

Where is a true conservative to go?

Are we to have yet another election where we must go to the polls holding our collective noses and vote for the lesser of evils?

What an incredible waste?

Where are the rino leaders? Where are the rino conservatives?

My wife was distraught over the nomination of McLame, I was only resigned. As I told her then and tell you now, he would have been far better than the alternative.

I’d like to see another Reagan, who knew how to sell the truth, which is even better than just telling it. I like Palin in the Reagan mold but right now I’d settle for a whole lot less.

I think Romney would be a good president and is even electable. I like Palin and agree that she would be a huge improvement over Obama.

Conservatives must find a candidate and support that candidate in every way possible even if that means going door to door throughout this country. That candidate must expose the truth about the tyranny taking place in America today. They must expose our internal enemies including the MSM who will be out to destroy them.

Always play smarter and be one step ahead of your enemies. Climb in the gutter and use their tactics back on them.

As of now, the only Conservative available is Palin, who could win as I suspect her base is solid and she has room to grow.

Also, I'm looking for a candidate that does not live in fear of the MSM. Too many GOP'ers want the MSM to say nice things about them, so they disparage conservative values from time to time. Yes, I count Huckabee in this group.

Romney? I don't trust him either, if for no other reason than his health care plan in Massachusetts.

America needs a President who can be a strong Christian leader. That leaves Romney out. Romney is a spiritually deaf RINO.

Huckabee is a strong Christian leader who can educate the sheeple on how to be good Christians.

In the modern America, someone with such fortitude and directness would be more successful delivering the message with lipstick on—which is why it is so critical that Palin succeed in getting her own image across in the next year or two.

We already have people doing that in Glenn Beck and Limbaugh so I think the presidential candidate can be relatively conventional with rhetoric.

Besides, the "Patton style" candidates have never done well in politics. I'm thinking of Patton himself, Douglass MacArther, Pat Buchanan, Ross Perot, etc.

That must explain LBJ's second term.

LBJ was defeated by himself. He said “the heck with this I am taking my marbles and going home”. He would of had to win dirty, but in the end the Dems would of backed him, especially after their golden boy RFK was murdered
