I'm still of the opinion our best scenario in '10 is to win (with respect to Congress solely) just under the majority. Enough to cripple the radical agenda, but we can't get blamed as the majority party, and have Zero run against us a la Bubba in '96, the rodents will have to own their failures and bellyache as still the majority. Then take a solid majority with President Palin in '12. As for the Governorships and legislatures, winning as many majorities there as possible IS an imperative because of redistricting. My state of TN is gonna flip (if we can't bounce some Dems next year) from a 5D-4R delegation to a 7R-2D one by '12 based on redistricting alone.

What we need to do is win enough seats to stop this steamroller. If we can’t, they will pass legislation that will be nearly impossible to reverse if and when we ever do take it back.
The more time we let slip by, the more chance they have of making their agenda permanent. There truly is a point of no return here, and we are nearly beyond it now.
