Maintaining his stature as one of the most forceful defenders of the Bush Administration's defense policies former Vice President Dick Cheney accused President Obama of committing "libel" against CIA interrorgators on Wednesday.
Mr. Cheney’s criticized the Obama White House in a wide-ranging address on foreign policy matters for abandoning commitments to allies in Poland and the Czech Republic in favor of the Russians, sacrificing American intelligence officials to satisfy the political left and "dithering" on taking action in Afghanistan, among other things.
The speech, delivered to the Center for Security Policy, comes as the White House considers U.S. Commander of Afghanistan Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s request for an additional 40,000 troops and struggles with the legal consequences of shutting down Guantanamo Bay. On the domestic front, most of political Washington is consumed with massive health care reform plans moving through Congress.

In the speech, Mr. Cheney charged that President Obama has "filled the air with vague and useless platitude" when talking about torture and by calling enhanced interrogation technigques "torture" he has committed “libel” against CIA interrogators whom Mr. Cheney described as “dedicated professionals who acted honorably and well, in our country’s name and in our country’s cause.”

Cheney is a good man. He knows Obama lies and calls him out. Obama is a very bad liar and has bitten off way more than he can chew. The courts will be over-run with constitutional gaffes with this buffoon and his merry band of maggots. This will be a historic presidency in more ways than “one”.
The Bush folks have taken the gloves off this past week.
I wish they had done so a long time ago, but better late than never, I suppose.
Cheney seems to be the only conservative on the national stage with balls of steel. But, at least there is one......

I just love Dick Cheney. Didn’t care so much for him when he canceled the A-12 program . . . but then my now husband & I started dating which we could NOT do before since we both worked on the program . . . and the rest is HISTORY. 18 years and 2 kids later. :) LOL Wish GWB would have been as strong as Cheney vs. playing nice with the Rat’s.

Years ago I spotted Dick Cheney, listened to him, watched his demeanor, was mesmorized by him as a leader, and prayed he would someday become what we all deserve in a President.
It’s most unfortunate it’s not in the cards.
That’s my opinion.
