The New Jersey Star-Ledger is just doing what comes naturally, since they have their head up Barack Obama’s ass, they’re compelled follow his every move...
A little bit of a freudian slip there maybe?
I can picture the author.
“If this is true, why on Earth would they want him to go? Sounds to me like he is indeed a gift — for Republicans.”
It went so well for the dems last time they had a public battle with cheney over policy.
This is one of Dick Cheney's big strengths: he forces dems to talk about *policy* - a subject on which they are almost always wrong.
They hate that. And they lose.
Go Dick!
Cheney’s been too vocal, I’m sure “The One” has put out the order to “marginalize” him.
Fat Chance.
On another note, the Star Ledger, a notoriously pro-Corslime paper emdorsed the Third party candidate, Chris Daggett, for Governor, in a blatant attempt to draw votes from Christie. There is a good chance that the incumbent could be re-elected with as little as 34% of the vote.
And, yes, the paper is very close to bankruptcy.
I am missing the same thing. If Cheney is helping the Democrats all that much it would seem they would be sure to have him on every news show they could get him on.
Da Jooooz!!!
If the Star-Ledger were forced to remove the outright blatant lies from their reporting, they could save a fortune on ink costs...
1) Yes, Newark could be considered a ghetto or a slum, or both for that matter.
2) Yes, the Newark Star-Ledger is on a death watch headed towards bankruptcy.
The Star-Ledger, like a lot of Northeastern liberals is brain dead. That being the case its no surprise that they just endorsed resident rat Gov. Jon Corzine for reelection. Oh, and by the way, that picture could have been taken in just about any urban center in New Jersey today.
Liz Cheney for President in 2012!
Copyright restrictions not withstanding, Below I’ve cut/paste below the relevant text of this same opinion writer’s previous pieces suggesting both Jimmy Carter and Al Gore stop criticizing the Bush administration, and “get off the stage”:

I thought it was about the neocons' Project for a New American Century.
Either way tho, the neocons are out. Bush convened the Iraq Study group and replaced the neocons with Realists. Bush left Scooter to die on the battlefield. That's why the the neocons now hate Bush.
Obama won on a Realist platform and McCain lost on the neocon platform.
Where can I get that bumper sticker, I will need two dozen.
No, No.
All of New Jersy’s problems are solved and this guy has nothing to do, so he can turn his attention to national politics.
There are no bad politics left in NJ.

Entire ‘Star-Ledger’ Editorial Board Takes Buyout
As The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J. cuts 40% of its news staff through buyouts, it’s also losing its entire editorial board, according to John Farmer, the new editorial page editor.
http://www.eandppub.com/2008/11/entire-star-led.html
With editorial board and reporters gone, they simply take the press releases from the Demons and publish them. :)
Now, y'see, if Cheney was the kind of guy you're accusing him of being, he'd be suing your *ss for libel right there.
