Why do you think obamama fought so hard to keep his Blackberry - against all security protocol for a POTUS?

The run his Shadow Gov’t without any oversight by the real gov’t.

I don't think he's hanging on to the Blackberry "for dear life" to run his shadow government - it's so his handlers can "run him".

O-N-L-Y W-I-T-H A G-O-P M-A-J-O-R-I-T-Y

and then there’s no way you’re getting 60 votes in the Senate for removal.

I was thinking similar this morning: we need to start declaring this what it is - a coup. If we don’t, they will use the term against the restoration.

This is a COUP. We need to shout it out. Email it to our friends. Obama must be stopped!

Sowell’s thoughtful columns are always a great read. Thanks for posting this, jazusamo.

Would that Tom Sowell was our black president.

No, I think it’s mostly just because he’s black. I find generally the most exciting “Republicans” to be black or women - they don’t feel shackled by their race/sex and that they can speak freely and what they really think. In their minds they know no-one can really question their racial attitudes and such. PC-ness be damned.

Funny you should mention Peggy Noonan. That was who I had in mind as someone to whom it seems acceptable to abandon conservatism because “it is so rude to disagree”.

“We should be turning to the most intelligent people for ideas.”

Sowell himself, and Walt Williams, has recently warned about this attitude.

“Intelligent” doesn’t mean knowledgeable, logical (common sense - see tag), or certainly not moral.

Does any of this sound like America?

No.

It sounds more like the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany.
