If Sowell may think we’re passed the point of no return, well, that’s discouraging and frightening.

Nothing is more consistent with his[Obama's] lifelong patterns than putting such people in government-- people who reject American values, resent Americans in general and successful Americans in particular, as well as resenting America's influence in the world.
Any miscalculation on his part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these stealth appointees were like.

It’s been a while back and may have even been before the election, I wish I would have separated the column out.

Thanks for the ping! I hope Dr. Sowell is still with us when the current President’s excesses are finally behind us.
Heck, I hope I’M still around, too!

“...if you have any ideas of what kind of ACTION we Americans can take...”
Hell, we can’t even get to the truth of Obama’s true identity because no one in government has the courage to find out who he is, and we ask the question how we can stop the dismantling of our country?
Only after we discover who Obama is can we know why this country is being destroyed.

Only after we discover who Obama is can we know why this country is being destroyed. It's to bring the USA under a world government umbrella.
So i asked Thomas Sowell if he has any ideas of action we can take. We should be turning to the most intelligent people for ideas. Hell, anyone with an idea should put it out there for discussion.
If you'd rather sit around and think about the cause while the affect is already happening then go ahead, stick your head in the sand.

Those who say that the Obama administration should have investigated those people more thoroughly before appointing them are missing the point completely.Sadly, it is idiot Republicans in the House and Senate who pussyfoot around by using that argument.
It's real men like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham, etc., who point out that the people Pres--ent Ochavez has surrounded himself with share his views.

Thomas Sowell doesn’t mince words. There is a socialist in the white house and our children and grandchildren are going to pay the price.

How far the President will go depends of course on how much resistance he meets That's the problem. So far he has met very little resistance at all. Sowell points out how many things have changed radically in a year's time, and I think that's actually the secret: these things have happened so fast that people are reeling and don't really know how to respond.
I wish there were some possibility that Thomas Sowell could be more of a political figure (that is, somebody we could vote for) although he's a thinker and a scholar and not a politician. But then, you could have said the same about many of the Founding Fathers. John Adams comes to mind.

Scary as that is from a medical standpoint, it is also chilling from the standpoint of freedom. If you have a mother who needs a heart operation or a child with some dire medical condition, how free would you feel to speak out against an administration that has the power to make life and death decisions about your loved ones? Does any of this sound like America? Welcome to the USSA, comrade.

Good point, I much prefer Sowell’s style of writing than the meandering musings of say, a Peggy Noonan. Hundreds of trite, flowery words all leading up to the one or two “money quotes”. Like it was written backwards, come up with a couple of money quotes and fill enough other words in there to get it published.
