$1.7 million is a pretty big number. But I really don’t see a way that it can be determined that this money is going strictly for Obama’s defense of the BC court challenges. Some of it is for sure. All of it - I doubt. Most of it - who knows? Anyone that knows the answer should post the rationale. It would nice to know that he has really spent that kind of money to hide his birth information.

IIRC there were a couple of states with legislation pending that would require a birth certificate to get on the ballot for POTUS in the future. Anybody heard anything on the status of these bills?

I’m not a “birther” yet I continue to be mystified at why Obama keeps shelling out big cash to sent top-rank lawyers to quash the challengers on these issues.
The presstrumpets Palin’s (rather small) lawyer fees, and is quick to suggest in their reality there is a taint of scandal, but says nothing about the lawyers of President Barack Oba-ME.
They have tried this intimidation before and it did not work.
