I think the clear message here is that if Conservatives vow NOT to support RINOS that the GOP is going to have to reconsider it's own support of the DIABLOS in their midst.

Here a third party candidate with conservative credentials doomed the Republican nominee because the conservatives simply were not going to throw in with a RINO when so much is at stake in our national debate.

To have allowed Scozzafava to be elected would have taken all the steam out of the TEA PARTY movement.

Well this should energize the TEA PARTY movement and hopefully get the GOP elite to begin reconsideration of whether or not they are going to continue to lend their support to the Snowes, Specters and Collinses of the party.

The message has been sent. The big question is whether the Republican Establishment can read?

You bet they can. Their conclusion will be to "teach them [us] a lesson," that "conservatives can't win" without RINOs calling the shots. They'll stab us in the back before they let us win.

The reason is simple: The GOP leadership knows that they'll be out of a job and the corporate donations will dry up if the party is populated with advocates of smaller government. With smaller government, they'll have no favors to sell.

The Democrats can't do anything without selling favors. This is where the media bias is perhaps most damaging in what they do not cover.

Bingo! This is exactly what was needed and gives a shot in the arm to Conservative Republicans in places like NY. Hoffman may have been a 3rd Party candidate but in reality he was a Conservative REPUBLICAN running because the GOP candidate received her nomination under suspicious circumstances.

The NY Conservative Party would have endorsed any of the GOP candidates except her. They are not the traditional 3rd Party but are there for cases like this as they usually endorse the Republican. They formed as they had no say in the GOP heirarchy in NY. It paid off big time now. They need to stay separate and do what they have been doing because it will make the Republican candidates in NY not be the hard core leftist that this woman was.

Summarizing: Hey! GOP! No more excrement sandwiches.
