The message has been sent. The big question is whether the Republican Establishment can read?

You bet they can. Their conclusion will be to "teach them [us] a lesson," that "conservatives can't win" without RINOs calling the shots. They'll stab us in the back before they let us win.

The reason is simple: The GOP leadership knows that they'll be out of a job and the corporate donations will dry up if the party is populated with advocates of smaller government. With smaller government, they'll have no favors to sell.

The Democrats can't do anything without selling favors. This is where the media bias is perhaps most damaging in what they do not cover.

Very interesting take on that, I had never thought it through but that makes sense. The question is, does the Tea party movement have enough push in money and manpower in small donations to counter the big corporate donors ? It sure seems to be working for Doug Hoffman’s case, but can that momentum be continued?

ding we have a winner! there needs to be a makeover of the gop pure and simple. If the gop is going to be like the dems only the lite version what good are they. The head of the gop should be asking questions and demanding answers like Beck.To think that newt supported a prochoice candidate after just becoming a Catholic shows where his true loyalty is, his personal opinion, rather than church teaching and his political views. I have no respect for him anymore.
