The report form has a slight embarrassment on it. They checked the box that indicated they didn’t object to him being released. They then indicated there was a weapon involved. That box would normally be checked if you’d indicated you objected to release.

The bullet match statement is a bit overreaching. You can’t say it matches to the exclusion of all others in the world unless you’ve examined every other weapon in the world. That’d normally be a statement that it matched in all particulars. At any rate, the DNA is going to hang the guy, and it’s a richly deserved hanging IMHO.
