FORT HOOD (November 5, 2009)— Army Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan whom Fort Hood officials identified as the soldier who opened fire Thursday afternoon on post, killing 12 and wounding 30 others, is not dead, according to the post’s commander, who earlier said the gunman was dead.
Lt. Gen. Robert Cone declined to comment on Hasan's condition.
Hasan was reportedly taken to Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
Fort Hood ended its lockdown Thursday evening, more than six hours after a shooting that left 12 people including the gunman dead and 31 more injured.
The post set up a hotline for relatives of Fort Hood personnel, who may call (254) 288-7570 or (866) 836-2751 for information about loved ones.
The Killeen ISD said Thursday evening the lock down at Fort Hood has ended and that parents may now pick up children at their schools on post.
Traffic was moving slowly at post gates, however.

WTF????????????????? How could the Army screw up if the gunman was alive or dead? or even his/hers/theirs true identity
I immediately have lost all faith and trust in the ability of the Army to investigate any aspect of this slaughter.
This is where the inevitable conspiracy theorists will have derive decades of debate fueled by this incompetence.

Six months ago Hasan came to the attention of the FBI because of Internet postings that discussed suicide bombings.
Somebody in the Brass needs some heavy discipline...

Good. I believe since he can be handled via military justice, that means, waterboarding is fair game. Extract the maximum info out of him. Then court martial him and have him executed by a firing squad. The old fashioned way.

I wonder if the Army personal that witnessed his dramatic change and comments will be put to the rope. This should never have happened.
I figure the shooter was capable of holding his breath for hours. Since he's a killer, he has no heart thus no heartbeat was detected during this time.
Unfortunately for him a nurse had just eaten a BLT, this caused him to loose concentration on playing dead.
My question is, why did the Army say that he was alive?
Why did zero take up air time today during the Tea Party? the timing is too coincidental.

Was Hasan heckled by the Troops at Hood for his sympathy for his fellow Muslims. Did he explode and shoot a bunch of them?
Was this about his connection to the Obozo team. Many in the Mil would not like him for this.
