If the sub had written hello and goodbye in French or Gaelic we probably wouldn’t find it alarming, unless of course those people were doing horrific murders.
So you can feel that way, but don’t let those feelings get too much of a hold on you in the case of a sub writing hi and goodbye on the board in arabic.
I actually thought if I was teaching, I would not have said that I am part Italaian and write Ciao on the board. Thanks for talking me off the ledge, but I am still going to go in and “meet” the teacher.
