Perhaps the General Courts Martial could order death by BEHEADING in this case, followed by the pouring of boiling oil down the throat of the executed. Oh, WAIT - that’s what Hasan said HE wanted to do to all the Infidels! The British press reported this - why did the US Media Monolith cover it up?

Right now, on ft. Hood, they should be constructing a platform to hang him on. Are they?

Not to far from Dallas. I'd pack up the family, a picnic basket, and make a day of that event!

I thinking that if there is a swift trial and combined with the appeals process, it might just be possible that this scumbag’s death warrant might hit Obama’s desk about mid-2012.

Just in time for the elections.

Obama will kill him himself just to get some patriotic votes.

That Death Warrant is as good as signed.

obama show some backbone on this? Ha! Literally laughing out loud as I type this. Hasan can look forward to three squares a day and a long life. In prison sure, but he’ll live...unless a fellow inmate gets to him.

Besides, a death penalty would make him a martyr.

Yes it would. A crippled loser in prison for life is a better ending for this snake. A much better deterrent for the thoughtful, aspiring jihadist.

I usually support the death penalty. The superstition involved in this case makes it an exception for me.

I know what he did. I know he deserves death. This is also what he is seeking, and he should be frustrated in this.

The Kenyan will never sign a death warrant for a fellow muslim.

Yeah, he'll only sign it for the unborn.

Killing Americans is a pardonable offense. Jeeze, he already gets no virgins.

Actually, there was one civilian casualty. As a result, I believe the State of Texas judicial system could try the terrorist for first degree murder and potentially receive the death penalty. As Ron White states, “you come to Texas and kill some one... we’ll kill you back.”

Just a thought...

Oh, let’s not jump to conclusions. We’re not even sure if he’ll be found guilty by a jury of his peers. His peers will be muslims serving in the military and his judge will be an Imam and the prosecuting attorney will be from Code Pink. So, I think it’s premature to be talking about a death sentence. Casey is going to give him a diversity medal.

I hope the court-martial proceeds quickly. I am sure he will be facing a General Court Martial. I’m thinking he will be charged of X counts of murder. I’m thinking he will be found guilty, and a recommendation for the death penalty will be made to the GCM convening authority. A death warrant would have to be approved by the President, and I believe this will be Zero’s ultimate failure. He won’t sign it, and instead remand him to serve his sentence at Fort Leavenworth, KS. The backlash will be something to behold, and will ultimately cost him re-election.

"And I remember W’s first act was going to be to arrest Clinton."

As I recall ... that was Pat Buchanon, after being asked, "What will be your first act if elected President"

He replied, "I'll turn to Bill Clinton and say, Mr. President, you're under arrest"

But, it doesn't matter who said what ... then.

"Besides, a death penalty would make him a martyr."

I've heard this many times and I don't believe it.

I think if you die in the process of committing a jihad (or whatever it's called ... like the 9/11 killers) ... THEN you might be considered a martyr ... but with the internet and all the knowledge of what's going on in the world and who's doing what and why .... the major puke is already shamed by being taken down but a little tiny lady that kept firing.

No ... this entire incident, though perhaps planned (I DO believe there are powers that be behind zero and that nothing is an accident) .. is going to bite him in the ass.

I think the military is pissed off at zero and is just waiting for an opportunity ... like the one that just occured.

At least I really want to believe that.

If I am not mistaken, the court martial process generally proceeds more quickly than than murder cases in state court. Of course, this case could be an exception. Someone please correct me if I am wrong and add more details.
