They will have the 60 votes. When are people going to realize this is a bolshevist party we are dealing with. as I posted on another thread.

they are not at all afraid as they know that even with marginal losses in 2010 the Bolsheviks have the census. Obama will veto any attempt to roll this back. ACORN will find millions of uncounted souls all in democratic states, thus a shift in the congress and thus the electoral college. They will guarantee themselves dictatorial power in perpetuity. The blowhards who think there will be a revolution are delusional. The dictatorship was voted in last november and still we pretend we live in a democracy when it’s really all make believe. The people in washington already know this. The left has infiltrated every institution we have, is anyone delusional to believe that didn’t include the military, police and the GOP?

They know exactly what they are doing and it's far from political suicide. While we fight them on this they are attacking on all fronts laying the groundwork for permanent power. These guys are MARXISTS. As an ex marxist of the stalinist variety I know marxists when I see them and they are playing our side like violins... No I am not being pessimistic, I am being realistic..

What makes it harder to accept is that these politicians are the choice of the American people over many election cycles. The people are the problem. Walt Kelley understood.

You have "stolen" my thoughts.

Only if it were that simple. Hopefully we can stand as country long enough for that election and defeat Obama.

I want to be optimistic. But if everything Obama wants passes. Expect all sorts of outrage.

Yep, and as the media continues to obscure the health insurance legislation, Congress can pass it. Then State Run Media can tell us how stupid we are for letting it pass

Reagan and the Republican congress actually ended a lot of policies started by Carter or before Carter: they ended “windfall profits taxes” on oil producers, shut down Carter’s government-run synthetic fuels corporation, ended some ineffective government jobs programs, and very importantly, they cut income tax rates dramatically and indexed income tax brackets to inflation. Those tax cuts and indexation gave a big boost to the economy as it rebounded up from the 1982 recession.

The Redline would take me within half a block the my favorite bars/eaterys in Hollywood in half the time of driving.

We are so off-topic here .. LOL

You know, I endured years and years of inconvenience while they were building those subways from downtown to Hollywood, but when they finally opened, I never once rode them. I think they were even free to ride for the first month they were open.

I have no real emotional attachment to driving.

I don't know...maybe being a native California boy has something to do with my love of driving and personal mobility. Everything about it makes sense in my universe. In the pre-auto era I'm the type who would have been riding my own horse. No doubt about it.

SRM will never say it was stupid legislation. SRM will distort what’s really in the legislation and its true impact on America. But that won’t work because every citizen is involved in the health care system and we’ll all know the truth about what a mess they’re trying to make out of it, and how they’ve driven the cost of health care way up. SRM could be badly damaged by trying to cover up the truth and lose even more viewers. There’s the silver lining in this big dark cloud.

You ain’t kidding. I know a few doctors who are already talking about leaving the US and setting up new clinics in the Cayman Islands and other nearby offshore locations.

I'm planning on jail, myself. Think about it:

Three meals a day, don't have to work, free healthcare for 1 to 5 years, and don't have to pay taxes the entire time!

I'm almost looking forward to spending my golden retirement years in the slammer. It'll pry beat being on the outside and watching my country being destroyed (and paying for it too)!

yeah. That is true. If we do get the right people back into power. We can still reverse things.

a bunch of wimps running the party!

^
Had the same impression as I watched the last few Republicans tonight. When Harry Reid has more fire in his belly then all the Republicans together, it’s time for the primaries to be the first stand for freedom, again.

You are all wrong about Mary. She would have sold out for nothing. As it was, she got some freebies for the “poor”, who will never see them. People in LA don’t understand when they are taken for a ride.

I missed most of this. I had to go somewhere.

Schumer sounded like he was speaking in code to their communist followers. I was screaming at my teevee.

It is hard to fight with a bunch of wimps running the party!

I agree... The words "stay with us through the fight" weren't my words... I'm pretty damn pessimistic regarding America's future right now.
