Lakewood is just a bit south of Tacoma. The coffee shop is right across the street from McChord AFB, where my husband works.
I hope whoever is responsible for this horrible murder is dealt with severely.

Lakewood is about 25 miles south of Seattle, a solid middle class city, with very little crime to speak of. It is a suburb of Tacoma, and the place is VERY close to Ft Lewis Army base...the home of the Stryker brigade.
