The people are pissed!

Even the Looney Left (DU, Kos) oppose this mandatory health insurance bill, as PJ-Comix and I have been documenting on the DUmmie FUnnies. Of course, they oppose it because it is not socialist *enough*, but at least they hate it too!

It looks like the Repubs may be given another chance in 2010, in sort of a replay of the 1992/1994 scenario. Let's just hope we get some principled constitutional conservatives in there who will have the guts to stay the course and stem the tide.

it is a long way to becoming a real bill. So hold on to your shorts for while. There is a lot of trading going to have to be done with the house.

Yes, and it has to be many more than there were in 1995 too and some unafraid of “closing down” the government. But I don’t think the American people will go along. This socialism is contagious.
