Stupak: Obama Admin Bullying Me to Accept Abortion Funding in Health Care
Washington, DC -- Congressman Bart Stupak, the pro-life Democrat who has been the consistent champion against abortion funding in the health care bill, says the Obama administration is trying to bully him. Stupak says in a new interview that he will not back down in the face of pressure from the White House.

Of course they’re trying to bully him. Standard procedure for this crowd.
Stupak is my congressmen. I’ve met personally with him twice regarding The Fair Tax, trying to enlist his support.
Don’t put any hope or trust in this man.
A) He’s not very bright - he could not understand the basic concept of The Fair Tax after several slow & patient explanations.
B) He is a party hack all the way & will cave.
Just what is he going to do about it?
I wonder what his price tag will be. I’m so grateful that congress voted Oblahblah a trillion dollar trust fund with which to bribe its members.
He is setting up an excuse. He sold out his country like other Democrats. They are evil. McCain and Graham-nesty are just as bad.
Let us remember next November that the Democratic Party is PRO-DEATH.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find only things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelogus
If you believe in the pro-life, it shouldn't affect you at all.
If you don't, you are looking for an excuse to cave.
I hope all the Roman Catholic voters remember that!
Well, I hope not. CRZ posted a YouTube video here yesterday of a town hall meeting in which he repeatedly told a questioner that he WOULD vote for healthcare if they eliminated his pro-life amendment in the reconciliation process.

Regretably, he makes it pretty clear. So it’s going to need a LOT of pressure, and maybe a word from his bishop as welll as the pro-life organizations.

A plan to slash more than $500 billion from future Medicare spending -- one of the biggest sources of funding for President Obama's proposed overhaul of the nation's health-care system -- would sharply reduce benefits for some senior citizens and could jeopardize access to care for millions of others, according to a government evaluation released Saturday.
The report, requested by House Republicans, found that Medicare cuts contained in the health package approved by the House on Nov. 7 are likely to prove so costly to hospitals and nursing homes that they could stop taking Medicare altogether.
AND if you are Retired Military on Tri Care for Life, which many Millions are, you are in for a nearly $5,000 NEW fee along with the increased premiums for the REDUCED Medicare benefits. bill would Introduce NEW nearly $5,000 fee to TRL TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search: http://economicspolitics.blogspot.com/2009/05/tricare-for-life-is-obama-trying-to.html This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollees cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.) http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/99xx/doc9925/12-18-HealthOptions.pdf November 6, 2009 | Rep Buyer abd Rep McKeon
