Obama eligibility - naive law student gets an 'F' as attorney rips her a new one

Attorney Philip J. Berg defends Obama birth certificate lawsuits

Editor's note: Philip J. Berg, former deputy attorney general of Pennsylvania and an activist attorney who brought a lawsuit challenging the eligibility of Barack Obama to become president of the United States, has written the following reply to Jamie Freeze's Dec. 22 RenewAmerica article "Facts are stubborn things: Obama is a natural-born citizen."

Jamie Freeze, a law student, has called any of us who question Soetoro/Obama's citizenship status and constitutional eligibility to serve as U.S. President --- a constitutional right of ours, of course --- incompetent idiots. Ms. Freeze, however, may want to continue her education. Part of being a lawyer, a very important part, is being able to comprehend what you read and to cite the correct law to collaborate it, something Ms. Freeze has clearly failed to do.

I will respond below to Ms. Freeze's allegations. My responses are in bold. I also want to make very clear to all readers that none of the eligibility cases have been heard, litigated, or dismissed based on the law pertaining to any of the issues raised. Instead, the eligibility cases have been dismissed on the basis of "STANDING" only.

I am sure all these attorneys representing Obama are doing it for FREE, yeah right

If they're a bunch of highly partisan Democrats, then they're absolutely handling this as a pro-bono matter (to be paid off in political favors, Chrysler dealerships, etc., at some point in the future). There may be no hard evidence of legal fees due, but there's most assuredly a debt accumulating. These lawfirms may be absorbing the cost - for now - but Obama probably hopes to eventually pay them out of our pockets, not his.

If his numbers look bad as the 2012 election approaches, all sorts of interesting things could come of this.

What’s amazing is how people like this Freeze woman can write this dribble with absolutely no proof.

I believe he isnt eligible. I havent seen his legal bills, but I have seen documentation of several law suits, which I am sure, he is paying a ton of money to these lawyers. I dont think the million plus price tag is an off the wall price. Have you used the services of an attorney lately?

The man is hiding many, many documents..from school records to passports. Why?

There is something he doesnt want people to see..and the more he continues with the hiding of these things, the more people what to know what these records contain.

If he had a “real” birth certificate (I, personally can produce two for myself, one from the state, one from the hospital), why wouldnt he put it out there, to shut everyone up?

Some interesting stuff regarding Ms. Freeze...

Jamie Freeze

Jamie Freeze received battlefield experience in the war of ideology while attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (aka UNC-Gomorrah). While earning a bachelor's degree in political science and history, she served as Vice President of the College Republicans and was the lone conservative opinion columnist for The Carolinian, UNCG's student newspaper. After surviving college without becoming a liberal, she graduated in 2009 and is currently working toward a law degree at Regent University. You can contact Jamie at j.l.freeze@juno.com.

The source is the records of his campaign filed with the Federal government on a quartly basis. Look it up if you so desire, but it is not a disputed fact.

I too don't deal well with incompetent people. As a matter of fact, I go out of my way to avoid them, but when dealing with them is inevitable, I can't help but point out their incompetencies. As a law student, I am being trained to be meticulous, well-reasoned, and intelligent. After my final exam grades come back, we'll see how well I'm doing. But that aside, I feel that I have been too longsuffering in letting the Birther Movement receive simply a few caustic remarks and jabs from me

At this point it is really hard to get a true figure as O is using government lawyers at the DOJ.

Nope. Since last January 20th, all those lawyers representing Obama have been paid staff of the U.S. Attorney's office.

I have no problem with Mr. Berg’s assertions other than the one where he criticizes the ignorant law student for throwing out BS case law not relevant to the case at hand. Lawyers always obfuscate and attempt to confuse. It’s the old “If you can’t argue the law, baffle them with bull$hit” theory. They all do it most of the time.

Yep - many STUPID lawsuits will come from this little girl. Her language alone is not of high legal quality. Her research is seriously lacking.

That doesn't negate the value of their work. It would still be worth over a million dollars. Probably more since they are all likely shysters.

President Obama may be using his political action committee funds to stomp out eligibility lawsuits brought by Americans, as he has paid more than $1.35 million to his top lawyer since the election.

Has fighting all these birther cases been the only legal work that Perkins Coie has done for Obama? Or are there other legal issues mixed in there?

Obama may or may not satisfy the letter of the natural born requirement, but even an incompetent boob with a smidgen of a sense of our Founding Fathers’ mindset can see he does not satisfy the spirit of it.

The opposition, dominated by lawyers, wants to bind us in legalisms. If We the People will cling to the Founders’ wisdom—which forever trumps the perverted decrees of the left—we can detach safely from these imposters, try them for treason and hopefully see them put to death—quite rightly, before GOD and man—and not become lawless in the process*.

There is nothing more law-abiding than honoring our Founders’ vision!

*It is the left who have, in essence, become lawless. Every strangling edict they issue carries an exemption for themselves.

I was inclined to respond in a similar manner, Mr. Berg, but was unable to provide as thorough and learned a commentary as yours.

There is something very embarrassing in his records.

That is exactly the reason to pursue the birth certificate issue, it researches and reveals other things.

I don't believe Barack Obama is the main problem though, it is rather a backing of a far more sinister nature that has fronted him:

as a black man, thus relying on some kind of pent-up guilt in the naive US citizen (e.g. Oregon),

as a narcissist, who can thus be manipulated to be a celebrated front end (e.g. Brad Pitt and the Hollywood producers),

as a Harvard/Columbia jerk, with those associated ties to the Leftist philosophy,

as a fairly good looking image, thus appealing to the mind-numb American female,

and finally as someone who really isn't all that bright as declared, and thus susceptible to the egocentric manipulation mentioned above while incapable of independent thought.

"They" indeed know what they are doing to accrue power to themselves, but are just not interested in the long term dignity of the citizens whom they manipulate, a sort of modern feudalism. Accordingly Barack Obama is simply a fool, as stated frequently here on FR.
