So when the next bomber stuffs the explosives up his smelly hiney, are you willing to do the body-cavity search? I would guess not. So the question is one of tolerance: How much are you willing to tolerate to accommodate the government and their PC BS just so we don't offend those that would murder us?
Right now “security” at an airport is not providing any extra level of protection. Those that fly a lot, like us, we know it is all visuals to deceive the public into believing they are being protected. How many times have you heard some once-a-year traveler oohing and awwing over the wonderful security.
Recently watched some TSA muslime waltz right on past the screeners and into the terminal, never going through security. The TSA person wasn't even in uniform but was going on vacation. That person was recognized by the other TSA dolt and waved through. I spoke with the TSA supervisor, yeah, right, like talking to a HS drop-out. Then I called TSA and was told, by someone with a muslime name, that TSA people can come and go into an airport all they want, at any time they want (flying or working or not), and don't have to be screened. It was, “A perk that comes with the job.” No ID check to even confirm the person was still employed by TSA, no screening of the bag, nothing. Just let her walk on past. Heck, we don't even let the aircrew do that and they are flying the darned jet.
Insanity, but yet we make it more and more difficult and intrusive for the Amish, 80-yr old grandmas, toddlers, 50-ish W/M business travelers and leave the muslime part out of the equation.
I am not pointing fingers at you because I don't know you but unless we stick together we will never survive and body scans at airports will be the least of our problems.
Your post says it all, especially the part about the “smelly hiney” aka butt bombs, which the current body scanners cannot detect so the whole thing is worthless.
