Republican Scott Brown wants Massachusetts voters to think of another telegenic politician when they step into the voting booth next month Democrat John F. Kennedy, the brother of man he is trying to replace.
In his first television ad in the campaign stretch to fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by Edward Kennedys death, Brown shows a black and white newsreel of President Kennedy delivering a speech on the benefits of tax cuts.

WHAT YOU SAID IS NOT TRUE, NOT TRUE. Scott Brown supports the Second Amendment (more than Snowe and Collins), and if he supports tax cuts, as the commercial implies, WHAT A BOON.

It would be the political shock of the new century if the conservatives and Republicans were so energized that they elected a Republican to fill Ted Kennedy's old seat. Probably too much to hope for, but the Dims would require months to recover from the shock if it happened.
