A saner school would see if focusing tutoring on the at-risk students would improve matters.
The school (and its students) seem to be a product of its local political environment and there isn’t any sanity there as you and I understand it. I’m all for having liberal ghettos. Keep them in one place. If they want all of their kids to fail, rather than a few, who am I to question their judgments? It’s egalitarian, you know! So very progressive.
